My 28" folded T10/1085 Huawei sold. I have a Huawei folded T10/1085 wakizashi I think I'll put up for sale. RinC What do you mean by T10/1085? Is it a kobuse blade?

Folded. Alternating layers of T10 and 1085 as far as I can tell. Not kobuse to my knowledge, but I never asked Jacki about that. I put it up for sale on the classified section ($400). RinC

Well, that’s very promising then. Now all someone has to do is order one or a few and see how long it takes to arrive. Thanks for investigating, Kyle 🙂 Ordered through the website Sept 17, in stock dotanuki, no customizations, received today. All in all about 2 months. Apart from the reversed tsukamaki end knots and the blade itself being a bit short for me (all of which I was aware of prior to ordering) I have no complaints at this price point. Sucks for all the people who have been waiting, don't know what to say. imgur.com/a/JJ0w7xX

Something is wrong with the website and Paypal, like they're not linked properly. It's possible they're not taking any more payments. Curious if anyone else has ordered in the last few months?

I just put in an order successfully. I did get an error from PayPal, but I got around that by right-clicking the button and opening it in a new tab instead of letting it open a new window. EDIT: Just realized I kind of resurrected an older thread by accident - oh well, hope this helps anyone who finds their way here!

he took my money and never gave me a sword 5 years ago or so. "He" who? Huawei, GGK, LK Chen, or Arlequin ? I know it wasn't me. :D Sorry for very late reply. Huawei took my money. I ordered a sword, to some spec - nothing special - it was made many months later and he sent pics. It was wrong. He said he'd correct it and then ghosted me.

You know if it's been that long for your order you can just have your bank or credit card reverse the charges and get your money back. That long with no product is justification for them to do it

Just so everyone knows, protection for credit card purchase is 90 days, in some cases can be extended to 6 months. But more than that highly unlikely to get a refund.

Just so everyone knows, protection for credit card purchase is 90 days, in some cases can be extended to 6 months. But more than that highly unlikely to get a refund. That's a good question. For those in the U.K. you may actually have up to 6 years under Section 75.
"You should make a claim within six years of buying the goods or services or, in cases of non-receipt, when you were due to receive them." ( Under "How Long have I got")
I am not sure 100% how it works in the U.K, as Section 75 is a law, and credit card charge backs are a policy of the credit Card Companies ( Visa MC, Etc.)...but it does seem to be a legal right if one used a credit card ( not pay pal, Bank transfer, etc.) and the vendor broke the contract by not delivering goods...it seems a consumer can invoke such rights and attempt to oblige the CC company to refund outside of a regular charge back.
I do know that in the USA if one can show the vendor was stringing the customer along with promises, that can extend the charge back, Refund for fraud time frame in certain cases.
One first has to request a REFUND from the seller. ( first step), then one has to be in contact with the Credit card Company...Visa Will allow UP TO 540 days to file a dispute on a purchase due to lack of delivery if the delivery time was far out, or other factors:
And in cases where an expected delivery date was breached, one has that 540 day window (from the original charge date) to file in terms of VISA:
"Currently, issuers can process a dispute for a transaction where merchandise or services were not rendered due to merchant insolvency or bankruptcy no later than 120 calendar days from the last date the cardholder expected to receive the merchandise or services, not to exceed 540 calendar days from the transaction processing date."
IN terms of Paypal, you are stuck with 180 days as a dispute window AFAIK and then they can hit you with a possible Terms and Conditions violation as they reserve the right to ban swords/knives "(k) certain weapons or knives regulated under applicable law."
In the last years many a sword seller has been hurt by these T&C's and lost monies, and use of Pay Pal accounts.
It also my be possible to complain to the Chinese Consumer Protection Agency, or Provincial Agencies in China itself...Many Chinese speak English ( and some agencies have websites in English like the one below), might be worth a try, as consumer protection applies to Foreigners as well as Citizens in China:
Other regional offices:
China does not look kindly on fraud or non delivery of goods...if one managed to file a complaint with them I would guess a refund would be forthcoming. No one in China want to be on the bad side of .gov. If enough of you guys who were stiffed filed a complaint, the offender's "social credit score" would be trashed, of course maybe he could refund you to get some of that score back....

What I did with Huawei (but have not ordered in years) and what I do with Jkoo/Sino is to pay half at time of order acceptance and half when it is finished and ready to ship. RinC

RinC That's what I did it didn't help. I would tell anyone who is thinking of buying from Huawei don't. you may be the lucky one and get your sword but you would be supporting a thief.
