Shanghai Fortress,a Chinese alien attack movie with average quality cgi, sacrificial heroes, unfulfilled love, thinly veiled plagiarism, heroes, hopelessness then hopefulness, and the Chinese cultural ethos that seems strange at times. And heroes.Lots of Heroes.

i’ve been watching a lot of macgyver (the original…) lately. always a good laugh. theme song is great. true classic. the series goes downhill in the last couple of seasons when there are no more communists or terrorists to fight or governments to interfere with and macgyver shifts his focus to cleaning up the streets of urban america…

A Series of Unfortunate Events (the series). Lovely. I enjoyed it. I love the imagery and how it's pretty tough to tell what year it's supposed to take place in. It's an interesting take on fantasy

Watched Over the Top (Sylvester Stallone) with the boys yesterday, they liked it quite a lot. Also, the 1986 movie Fist of the North Star late last night.

Started The I-Land short series last night, and managed to finish the last three episodes this afternoon.(It's currently nearly 5:30pm,21st here in Aussieland). Some good and bad acting, plot was ok and I did not mind it overall.

I've been watching lots of different YouTube videos...mostly 80's Rock and Country music videos, and also a lot of DIY and How-To videos. Some really great stuff there, with lots of good info. Great part is---if you forget something, just watch the video again. That's good for me, because my train of thought gets de-railed quite often!

Speaking of 80s music, I been going hard on the crue lately. I loved the movie The Dirt
