Saw Hardcore Henry on free to air last night.Difficult to adapt to the first person/go pro perspective, and hard to know wtf is actually going on,it's a full on very violent action movie. Should be just called "Hectic". Yeah, I watched that on Netflix a month or two ago. Bit too extreme for my tastes, but I thought the first person perspective was interesting.

Just full on show, nothing like I have ever seen before and I didn't really like the first person view,at times was like a video game. Last night watched Shaft, not bad.Started a Russian series Better Than Us,ok but it is dubbed in English which I have never liked except on old Japanese or Chinese flicks. Put the subtitles on and they don't match with the dubbing which actually p*sses me off for some reason. Plan for tonight is Aquaman, expecting good things from it.

So I was not overly impressed with Aquaman, watchable but I had heard very good reports and I found it predictable. Also some pretty poor parts.I mean,a drum playing giant octopus???
Just finished watching the 6 part series The Spy.Not too bad and I liked the way the ideologies were kept out and only the political facts of the time portrayed.

Just started watching "Black Sails" half an hour ago, unsure how to feel about it so far. I watched the first season. It's okay. I like the intro music and the idea behind it. I feel like everything wants to be about politics and people relation too much ever since GOT came out. I like GOT but it kinda ruined TV cause everyone tries be it, but they just come off as less good imitations

Ya kinda had to leave the brain at home during the Atlantis parts, but it was visually impressive. I actually liked it more than I thought I would (child of the seventies "Superfriends".

I just gave up with DC lol. They don't do movies well. The only ones I liked with Nolan's films. I was too disappointed with wonder woman. I thought for sure it would rule

Yeah the cgi was good, but it just got a bit too cheesy. I remember the Superfriends, and Aquaman as a standalone. I think I was expecting a bit more of a serious show, but like I said it was watchable.

God, I hope they hit it out of the park with Joaquin Phoenix as The Joker.

So maybe tempers have cooled enough I can say this now without a firestorm lol. I am starting a serious Game of Thrones binge now. Planning on the entire series in as short a time as is healthy.

It will be your favourite show. But the ending will reside in your mind as more and more will reveal itself to you as wrong

I finished season two of Knightfall recently. It's darker than the first season, but that seems to be de rigueur for tv these days. I hope it gets renewed for a third season. Mark Hamill makes his appearance in a few episodes, and he's great.

I already watched the show in fragmented seasons. This is going to be a super definitive viewing. I liked the idea of the ending as well but absolutely hated how it got there. It was so shoddily written and rushed.

And they massacred the character of my boy tyrion in the past two seasons

And they massacred the character of my boy tyrion in the past two seasons I think Tyrion desperately wanted to believe he was following a just monarch but they made him an idiot who kept being outplayed by lesser players as well as being blind to how utterly insane Dany was becoming, which itself was too abrupt. Still, the worst part of the show for me was what they made my man Stannis do. That was not only utterly horrific, it was so out of character I couldn't tell if I was horrified at Stannis or angry at the writers when I saw that.

Last night watched Coherence.Hard to follow at times and had to rewind often to catch what the hell was going on.The ending was one of those non endings that leaves the viewer wondering what happened.Confusing,a lot of boring scenes but has some intrigue.

Mangnus podium in GTD? Lally will be really pissy by Petit LeMans if they don't podium the 44 today.. The owner, Potter, would shrug it off with a good dinner but Andy is getting antsy for some points. Nice to see Ford holding back the others in GTLM as well. Only four months to the Rolex 24!
