You know what I'd dig? A Skyrim Netflix series. The possibilities are endless in terms of narrative. Prepackaged aesthetic. But which Skyrim? Everyone plays a different game. The main vanilla plot is the least interesting part of it. Skyrim was a fantastic video game because it offered far more freedom than film or TV ever could. My Skyrim was custom modded. I ran around mother naked, using explosives to fish while sniping bandits. I mean *I* am open to making that experience into a TV show, but I don't think the world is ready for my vision. And how do you write a song about a naked alchemist archer who's on a quest to blow up all the fish? Come all ye players to de Skyrim World Dragonborn come and me wanna strip down Mix up some potions to blow up de fish Dragonborn come and me wanna strip down Hey yo, hey ay ya yo Dragonborn come and me wanna strip down Bow and arrows me weapon of choice Dragonborn come and me wanna strip down* *sung to the tune of Daylight Come and me wanna go home

Alright... let me clarify that to a series set in Skyrim about absolutely anyone EXCEPT the dragonborn and alduin.

It could be called "The Companions".

Honestly, I think Morrowind would make for a better Elder Scrolls adaptation.

Stallagrim's take on the Witcher fight scene. In this special case, where Skallagrim doesnt know anything about the sources and why things are done like they look in the serial his opinion does not interest me too much... anyway: new Dark Horse figures came in: Uncle Emiel "Nails" Regis Rohellec Terzieff-Godefroy and Legendary Cat School Armour Geralt! Is the reverse grip of some special plot importance? It just looks goofy to me. Like holding a pistol upside-down.

No, i am sorry but thats just plain stupid hollywood influence; never mention in books or in the games. They think its cool, think GOT and the swordfight at tower in Brans vision. Everybody has to show it since Conan and 80ies Ninjas. Appears everywhere, pity. Wait, Eskel did it in a cutscene from Witcher 3... ah, but it looks cool!

To the experts: are there ANY sources or proof of revere grip with swords at all? In medieval euro stuff, i mean... i saw it in Wushu/TaiChi, the Thai double sword thing, and even with katana - was that for real?

In some places, they reserve the grip on a longsword, but with both hands on the handle. I believe it is to concentrate the force, or to better aim the sword, during a thrust, in rare circumstances It isn't done with slashes, and I haven't seen in done from a beginning stance either
