Andi and others, I suggest you copy and paste the template instead of quoting. This way it won't say "demonskull said" and it will only have the poster credited. You guys are doing the heavy lifting so you should get sole credit.

I'm here in the forum only with my smartphone and my browser makes problems with copy and paste. Quoting is easier but unfortunately I can't delete the "... said". I'll sign below and later you can assemble one big beastiary.
Btw. my prince charming fungus is the typical disguised evil spy/traitor/assassin, but can make an interesting move if too many good souls are assimilated and try to take over.
The plantmaster is a reason for having "grown" things or buildings, but also a nice short time companion for travelling heros ("Pipe weed? Wait a minute!").

Just wanted to make your work easier. Still got ideas: Shapeshifter Plantmaster F@ginius (controls small animals to do his jobs (name is a bad idea, always gets censored, how can you talk about Oliver Twist here?)) Ammo bee (of course) Battleorcs, breeded with weapons/mountings instead of hands (four?) and armor-skin. Andi---All great stuff, but didn't u see my Orc entry? I chose Uruk-Hai type orcs over D&D orcs, be it gives us more options. Still need Goblins (maybe??) Trolls (Norse, D&D...etc). Also I have a $hit-ton of undead to write up cause we have a whole country of undead "citizens" (Zombie Lives Matter)!!! All of your above beast types are A-okay for entries!! š D.S---I kinda already formatted my entries like a "monstrous "Manual" of some kind. So maybe we can all follow "that" and thatll keep things organized........cause this could get REAL sloppy REAL quick otherwise š

I used the template demonskull made and have designed one undead already. Give me another common template and I'll' use it. You can also make a list of beasts, races to work on.

What template D.S made?? The only official "template" was what I set up for the tundra yeti. D.S just copied the setup I'd already written out. Are my posts invisible or something?? If my posts are visible still, I'll make a SPECIAL template for undead creatures, creations, and summoned undead from different realms.

Blucher!
Edit: Misunderstood "template", I meant an empty form to fill out, not just an example.
Edit2: Nice idea for the undead: "Jewel Princes" = Lich king's paladins, big skeletons overcrusted with glittering jewels, glorious, spraying sparks due to so much magic. Bladed weapons with gemstones too. Nice contrast to the other black mummed waddling creatures.

the head of the mining operations would hold the queen ants hostage so the worker ants did their bidding
the ants create huge networks of tunnels but they are able to never get lost in their maze because they use scent to navigate their way around
as the mining operations came and went the tunnels were left abandoned and were often taken over by goblins or other foul creatures

Yeah sure Andi, I myself just copied and pasted the Tundra Yeti post and changed the "height," "weight," "Society" info (I WILL make a "blank" monster template, okay Mr Barvarian? š)but again, the undead specific stuff isn't JUST for adventuring/random encounter stuff....Paul made a whole COUNTRY of undead, all subservient to a "Lich King." It's a refreshing idea.....this coming from someone with 30+ years of reading fantasy novels.....so let's make it special!

Oh and Andi, I have a special Assassin/bodyguard type Undead planned already, to help protect the Lich King's phylacteries. So please don't think I'm ignoring your question, and if you have any more ideas along those lines always use your words š Also so we have to be careful discussing "magic" or "weapons" cause I think there's going to be sub-threads involving each of those aspects. We'll DEFINITELY bring it up with the "magic" and "weapons" guys though!

The premise being if the Queen doesn't "toe the line" and order her ant workers to obey (whoever's keeping the eggs hostage) the ant lineage would end with the current generation.......also baby's/eggs would be the Ant Queens kryptonite! What do you think?

What is you folks opinion on bestiary that is based on mythology? Such as Irish Mythology for the Tuatha region SURE!!! This is a mish mosh of "Sci-fI"....mythological...."religious-type" creatures (I.e Angels, devils, deities.....but no "saviors" or "chosen ones")......anything, within fantasy standards! Comprende? š Just no Canadian monsters please, there's enough on this forum LOL j/k Djinn!

and on the dire jaguar idea..sounds awesome to me, I was also thinking of a much smaller cousin of the jaguars found in swamplands called "marsh cats"
