Ha ha so some common sense kicked in lol :-) yeah I only had a couple, well 3 to be exact, before I got sleepy and went to bed. Mind you 3 drinks got rid of a quarter bottle of Bundy rum and the equivalent amount of american honey,so no wonder I felt a little tired :-) just got a hard ginger beer brew going too so that will be interesting in a few weeks time ! Hopefully can get tuck into that once vintage is over

I started converting pear wine in to brandy again, last night. The wine turned out less than desirable, so I figure I'll just pull the alcohol out of it and drink that. Tastes considerably better than the wine and is a LOT stronger.

Lol. I'm 24, so I can hang with the big dawgs. :p Lol. I'm 24, so I can hang with the big dawgs. :p I here that, I'm 23, I can get $#!+ crunk and jiggy and still head to work the next day. I feel like @$$ but I can manage. I'm 26 and I know that feel. My poison is red wine though. :D

I made a still out of some copper tubing and an aluminum pressure cooker I got from a yard sale.

Yeah... At one point in my youth I was part of the US Army drinking team. Tepid water and a nice day at a fishing hole is more my speed these days.

I'm not much of a drinker, only beer and wine (mostly red), and I don't get the chance to partake much in either of those. The funny thing is I find that a small amount of alcohol, like one beer, actually has the opposite effect on my in that it is like a low level stimulant. Wine makes me kind of sleepy if I drink enough (read: a lot).
I'm no longer in my 20's (nor have I been for over a decade).

I'm not on call tonight and someone had mentioned a while back that we should have e-drinks together. Thought I'd dig up this thread and see who's having a drink, tonight.

Well, I certainly don't plan on getting slaughtered. It's been a rough weekend and a couple drinks sounded nice.
