I have the Ollin, Windlass and VA types. My favorite to date is my Ollin: What is your favorite falchion. This can be one you like but do not have to own.

I was the caretaker of a Gus Trim Courtrai falchion for a while that I loved to death. I believe it still lives with chuckinohio at present. Gus's new Thorpe variants have been gorgeous and mean, too. The shorter model tickles my fancy: I've also always loved the Albion Vassal: But my favorite has always been Christian Fletcher's Thorpe, built on a custom Ollin blade.

I have a Gus Evo Arms Falchion that I really like, the blade is nice and stiff and this thing is SHARP! Attachments:

My hands-down favorite is the ATrim Thorpe-style falchion in the 28" blade EVO version. Just an awesome little sword.

I only have one falchion left in my collection... the Archangel. This one cuts like a mad man and rings like a bell. I had the opportunity to handle the Ollin one afternoon at KOA. What a beast! I had a hard time leaving without it. Attachments:

Just bought the VA norwich off of someone from myarmoury. Never handled a falchion before, looking forward to it!

Just received my MRL Falchion today. Very happy with it. And at under $90 a steel steal.

Well there was this one... viewtopic.php?f=6&t=16581 ...and this one... viewtopic.php?f=6&t=8907 I also owned the Courtrai falchion that Luna mentioned and the VA Norwhich Falchion, but of which were very cool. However... I have to say the ArchAngel was the best of the bunch. If I had a chance to get mine back, I'd take it.

Sean, your review of the ArchAngel is my all time favorite. Sometimes, I feel like I'm cheating when I cut with that sword. It makes it seem so easy.

Hi Guys,
Have just ordered a Vassal Falchion. I hope I'm going to like it.

Oh my. That is the best looking falchion I have ever seen. I was never too big into them, but this one looks fantastic.

I've still got that Courtrai Zach, and it is a devastating close quarters weapon.
I still dodge back and forth between it and the Thorpe as my faves.
