That was very interesting Kortoso. I wonder if those two guys went home feeling lucky to be alive or like total looser for failing to kill their opponent after so much effort.

Yeah, it looks like many times, the loser is the guy that dies first, rather than the one of dies of his wounds the following week.

Yeah, it looks like many times, the loser is the guy that dies first, rather than the one of dies of his wounds the following week. That seems to be a recurring theme when fights with bladed weapons occur. A close friend of mine was a patrol cop during the 1970s and 80s. His area of the city was known for lots of knife fights involving Hispanic gangs. Blades were very much the weapon of choice at that time, locale and sub-culture. He said on a number of occasions, he rolled up on the aftermath of a knife fight (really, a duel in the classic sense), just in time to watch the winner die of his wounds.

I have found out that from the Cateran Society, a broadsword group, that you can indeed use broadsword in a two-sword form. This opens up a very interesting dimension in broadsword fighting.
