I dream of having Frazetta design me a sword, and have Odinblades make it. ;D THAT is an awesome idea, my friend. I would second that but for the one I truly must have: The sword of the Cassiline. Edited to add: on second thought, why not have Frank design it from my own desires? Hell, its a fictional sword so ostensibly, it can look however I decide. I LOVE Frazetta's artwork; when I was a kid, I found my mom's collection- it was a glossy paged book chock full of all his paintings and drawings. His abilities were FIERCE. As is John's on a forge so yea, I'd have him make the blade as well. It WILL be able to CHOP IRON. LOL |

Did you see the way he 'crafted' his blade- I doubt it'd work. But it was a fun movie, that's for sure.

I also want Longclaw from A Song of Ice and Fire. The good news is that there's already a licensed reproduction of it, but the bad news is that it's stainless steel. Needle is being made out of carbon steel though, and they said they're considering making a carbon steel Longclaw, but if they did it would be more expensive. Would be worth it if you ask me. yeah with the demand for longclaw im sure they will prolly offer carbon steel down the road....and then if the HBO series is successful..they might start an armoury..or even fold forging..since that is how method of "valyrian" steel...another lovely blade would be Oathkeeper...and reverse blade katana from rurouni kenshin(there is a 30$ version)

Another Longclaw vote right here, On the off chance that any of you haven't seen this, It is Rick Barrett's commissioned Longclaw, varies a bit from the novel description as far as the Pommel is concerned, But I much prefer this over the licensed version, Of course it's a Barrett custom though, so well... there it is.  The only Other Fantasy sword I pine for is this: From the New Prince of Persia  It wouldn't hold up to a decent cut but I would sleep next to it... and not for protection... -Reisz |

Wow, I hadn't seen that custom Longclaw. That's way better than the official one. I think that's officially the coolest sword I've ever seen.
