After re-reading this thread I had a look at my email correspondence and it looks like I ordered my Thorpe Falchion (with down payment) on the 4th of January 2012. I had no idea so much time had passed.

I ordered mine about the same time as Ceebs (Thorpe Falchion as well).
I have not voiced a complaint to date, nor will I. I won't kick a man when he's hit hard times. I have several Atrims and love all of them. If Gus needs time to sort things out I have no problems keeping quiet and waiting patiently. It's the least I could do for someone who has contributed(and sacrificed)so much to the hobby I love.

Chris and Ceebs and Mark (he's waiting too) are the kind of guys that make my end of this whole gig worth while. Thank you guys, you are awesome.
Gus is keeping me updated and hopefully there'll be some swords moving soon.
He and I both want to get this backlog cleared out. The time has flown faster than we realized too.

My other Atrim took well over a year after a quote of 8-12 weeks (2005-2007). Going for a new record here. Please pm me too Tom!

I've put off saying anything out of resect but this is getting silly. As I understand it, there's even some "Pay off the machine sale" swords STILL on order. Thank God I didn't pull the trigger on a sword then even though I came extremely close. I also didn't get my 1420 from All Saints, which I did order. That one semi-burn stopped me from putting money down on my second opportunity. If I had I fear I'd still be waiting or have written it off a few years ago. And for perspective, the pay off the machine sale was what, 2006?
Companies and people go through hard times, but to continually put innocent vendors and customers through this is really a bad practice in the least. There's a reason why CF dropped Atrim blades. While Gus is the master and has advanced this art greatly in his years, I really don't see Atrim ever being viable again, IMHO of course.

My son is named Angus, partly inspired by Mr. Trim (Angus Young was also a factor). He was only a week or so late, unlike his namesake.
PS Thanks for getting back to me Tom, I do appreciate it.

May I give this terminally ill equine a gentle prod? It has been a little while, and I still possess some faint glimmer of hope that the pretty little riding sword I have stuck on my fridge will one day be a physical reality.

Still got my fingers a crossed on my XIIa.4. Just hope it shows up and I'm not making a mistake by passing ones up for sale in the classifieds.

Hi
I ordered and paid for a couple of tactical swords at the end of 2006, Who do I need to contact to chase these up? I've been away for a couple of years and had given up to be honest but saw this thread and wondered if there was a process to get on the list of outstanding orders. Kind regards

This thread is for the people who ordered from the now out of business Tried and True business venture who sold ATRIMS for a short period. People put 1/2 deposits or paid in full for pre-orders that did not get completed.
I can only recommend trying to contact Gus directly and really wish you luck.

No, unfortunately not, which is a shame since I'm assuming you purchased those directly from Gus in 2006.

I ordered and paid for two swords plus shipping to the UK direct from Gus in 2006, When he launched this line he said he was only going to sell swords from stock, no pre-orders. I would like to get a message to him in case he's lost my details.
