Now that's a very beautiful viking sword... I have been drolling over Rob Miller's suantoka sword...
Based on your experience, may I know how long does it take to order one from Rob? Did you order scabbard for the sword as well?

Hey Junon, from date of order to delivery was a week over 12 months, for me It was a very smooth deal with Rob answering all my emails and well as fast and cheap postage to a land down under, I never ordered the scabbard.
Hey Bill, I am really hoping you get your sword back soon.
Thanks Rob, I might try for some better photos this weekend as some of them were a bit crap, I have been trying to get photo's up of new acquistions as soon as I can, then I have an off site record of the swords I got for insurance coverage purposes.

Damascus guard stainless steel spacer domed stainless pin Carved ebony handle Carved leather sheath Tim Steingass USA maker Loveless style drop point hunter, got this too use as a genral utility after I decided not to abuse the Ebony one, very impressive knife to hold and use ended up ordering two more. 3/16" S 30V stock HT to Rc 60-61 8 1/4" OAL 4" Hollow ground blade Stabilized spalted maple scales Hand rubbed satin finish Pinned and soldered guard 416 SS furniture Red liners on tapered tang One more with a Buck 110 thrown in there for a size comparison.

As I use this page as a basic offsite record of my swords and knives, I thought I would add a section on what I have incoming with deposits paid. It is almost a wish-list for me as most of these swords are the reason I started collecting. All these swords are due to be completed by the end of this year, and I'm trying very hard not to add anything else to this list.. but you never know. Added a few photos but flickr is playing up will try to add others later. Rick Barrett - Ordered Feb 2012 - Arrived June 2014 - Tactical Katana - Raven Armouries - Ordered in Dec 2010.. for some great photos see Raven's Site ( www.raven-armoury.co.uk/ ) - Swords of Night and Day - - Snaga Axe - - Mournblade - - Custom Dragon Sabre - A larger version of the dragon short sword I own

Wow - that is quite a wait time for Raven Armouries.
I have one of their blades mounted by John Lundemo and it is very nice even after 20 years of age.
Good stuff coming man!

Yeah Bill the wait on Ravens Armouries work is very long, but as David Gemmell is my all time favourite author, I can live with the wait.

Picked up this Miller Bros M5 as a toolbox knife, looks like it will last, very tough looking knife.

Thought I'd post this, is a small video of the Atlantean Warrior in action, this sword is only battle sharp and still cuts like a dream, the bad cuts are user error. Not sure how this works but if you follow the link will take you to my flickr page hopefully. www.flickr.com/photos/86283292@N07/9380643133/

Had a day in the shed, decided to make a tyre pell and some cutting stands, due to the weight of the 4 tyres used on the pell I decided to put it on wheels for ease of movement.
