so - I am in Canada, so I cannot get an online shipping estimate. I e-mailed them today, and hopefully they can get me the DoD price, even though the message will have been received on the Monday.... If that doesn't work - anyone want to sell me theirs? :P EDIT: for non-US buyers - how do you get around the fact that their website does not allow you to get shipping estimates? Is there a way to bypass it? Or do you have to e-mail them instead? Yes you have to email them for a quote.

The saber is tempting. Does anyone have one or know if it's any good?

8/6 Muslin Underdress $ 30.00 www.museumreplicas.com/p-603-muslin-underdress.aspxHey Guys, are you seeking a way to distract your opponent during combat, then this might be for you. Elastic cuffs at the sleeves, lightweight cotton so it won't impede your movement, just the perfect fighting garment. ::)

Once you add sharpening, for a few dollars more, the Hanwei is a much better option. Just my opinion.

Didn't realize Hanwei made one....will have to take a look.
I am half tempted to buy the Windlass at that price and cut it down to about a 40" blade, shorten the grip a bit etc...make it a more manageable piece of steel, but probably won't...
edit - definitely won't...just looked at the pics at KOA..the cross guard has too much fancy on the ends to make me want to cut any of that off. I have always liked the lines of this type of braveheart sword but judging by the stats I'm thinking this Windlass model is going to be clunky in handling. Shipping is prob. pretty high too...will take a pass.

I did not mean Hanwei made a Braveheart claymore but their regular claymore is a much better sword for just a handful of dollars more.
