Hey! What about Justin Beiber? If anything, Canada should apologize for loosing that upon the world. And in return, America will apologize for Rebecca Black.

Actually, I barely know Beiber's stuff, but I've heard a few things about him and I have a bit of respect for the guy. He started as a nobody on youtube and is rumored to act like a gentleman on stage (example ; someone threw a water bottle right at his face in the middle of a show, he picked it up and said ''thanks, I was thirsty!'', some rockers would've thrown a tantrum instead). About Rebecca Black, no need to apologise, the internet would be far less entertaining without her spoofs

seb: I was kidding; I could care less one way or the other. I've never listened to any of them and never will, so they don't bother me. Besides, if necessary, I've got 500 good songs on my hard drive to drown the crap out. Psycho V: I'd say she is if the internet is anything to go by. And apparently, her friend in pink from the video is trying her own music career and is just as bad. Lonely Wolf Forge: I prefer a simpler time, when men were men, and women were men. I have no idea where that came from (or I do and just can't remember), but anyone pumping out testosterone fueled "men were men" statements always make me laugh and think of that.

Actually, I'm disappointed, I felt like I could have made a few more lines of sempriniing against Twilight

thinking the same thing bit weird considering the amount of hype it gets also havent seen a mention of kill bill (not a fan personaly but to each their own) other faves would be wolverine/dark claw and venom
as for rockstar bottling incidents went to big day out (big music fest in the land down under) saw one of my all time fave bands spiderbait whilst they where playing yahoos in crowd were throwing bottles at jannet (lead singer) the drummer walked out from behind drums to front of stage says "weve been doing this for twenty years and no one has even come close to getting us yet " then procedes to walk back to drum kit sits down leans to pick up drum sticks and almost gets hit by bottle (missed by about two inches) he gets up walks back to front of stage takes mike and says to crowd "i stand corrected" then went back and finished gig. awesome

There's always room for more sempriniing against Twilight, Seb. freq: I'm personally not a fan of LotR. I tried to read them years ago and got headaches; thought it was just from the small print. Nope. Bought a set recently, and it's because they're boring as hell. Say what you will about it, but even at its slowest, Wheel of Time still moved faster and with more pivotal scenes than LotR. If people like it and enjoy it, more power to 'em, but I can read 135 pages of a different book in an hour or two, not 4 days.

phew thought was something wrong with me. i hated lotr, my mates couldnt understand my abiding loathing for the series as i read almost anything else i just couldn't understand why anyone would want to read page upon page upon page of dialogue about hobbits walking then have a two page description of a battle that was pivotal to the story then back to bloody hobbits and dont even get me started on tom bombadill aaaaaggggggghhhhhh such a crap series and worse movies

I enjoyed the movies and The Hobbit book was fairly enjoyable since it was presented in a more lighthearted manner (and significantly more compact), but you know you're doing something wrong when things progress so slowly that 17 years can pass between the time you discover a problem and the time you actually do something about it. Plus, did Tolkien have to mention the hobbits sitting down for a meal EVERY. SINGLE. TIME? It's god-awful annoying.

I never read lotr, but did enjoy the movies. my favorite series to read was dragonlance. I have the bible version that has all the books in one book. my other favorite is vampire hunter d. couldn't put either down long enough to do anything else.

The funny thing about the Lord of the Rings is that it is really kind of split into 6 books, each of the three having two parts. Fellowship is all well and good, but then we get to the Two Towers. Instead of developing both plot lines in parallel they spent the first half following the whole Helms Deep Arc. Then after that piece of awesome we are treated to a whole several hundred pages of.... the hobbits wandering through Middle Earth. Needless to say I lost interest and stopped reading at that point.

Did you see the animated "Dragonlance" movie? I bought it . . . ugh; unfortunately it was bad. Hopefully someone will make a new one.

I never got into Dragonlance because I could never really figure out where to start, but the one time I did try a book, I enjoyed it. Though I probably wouldn't get into the series proper mainly because I remember it as being extremely high fantasy, which isn't my preferred fantasy genre.

Raistlin and Drizzt are probably my favorites, but there is also Tasslehoff, Erevis Cale.Oddly cant think of any more from novels, though there are at least a dozen more I am sure. From anime I liked Heero and Duo from gundam wing, Vegeta from dbz and Alucard. Cant say I really liked anyone from LotR, but I like the series. And I always considered Dragonlance to be low fantasy myself.
