np, Luna. Is that a DBK scabbard on the...albion squire? (my brain's not working after running) Brian matched up the color really well.
btw chris, which sword are you buying/ sending in?

Not a DBK, actually. Dan Dickinson made it (I think Shootermike has one of his scabbards too). The previous owner commissioned it, and Dan indeed did a great job matching color on the belt and straps.

Yeah, way to represent the Rust !!
The dark Chocolate Brown from the CSS appears almost black, but in the right light it is a very deep brown.

I kind of like the Chocolate Brown , it looks really good together with a lighter Tan colour . In fact the Norman Sonny is doing for me will be in a Dark Chocolate Brown and Tan ,should look pretty good when finished .

I can't wait to see the Actium! Love that sword! I didn't know there were any available these days.
Thank you for naming the colours- your collection is becoming the stuff of legend... have you heard the tale of the man with all the swords?

The Actium is going to be somewhat different as it is getting a "Antique" look to it .The grip will no longer be white and the leather on the scabbard will compliment the colour of the grip ,Should look good once completed (which should be soon) . The one I'm really interested in is going to be the Gus 1577 as iv given Sonny free reign basically (with only 2 requests) and he will be creating the guard ,grip ,pommel and scabbard for this one . So I'm looking forward to seeing this one once finished .

I'm renaming this thread to a more accurate description
"examples: Valiant Armoury Custom Sword Shoppe Leather Colour"
Pretty straightforward I know but at this point I think we have a great repository of the examples I needed; now the thread can more easily be found by others looking for the same.

Lovely CSS Gallery, there, Sean. Seems you switched the order of your Templar and and the New Bastard "Savoy" in the descriptions, but no worries (*EDIT, it's been sorted out *). Tis a lot of lovely steel to keep track of! Speaking of which, are we going to be treated to any impressions of the New Bastard/Savoy or the Falchion soon? I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd like to hear how the new VA models feel and perform. Would love to hear a comparison of the green Knightly and the Blue and Grey Rampant Lion Sword as well, but that's just my own prying tendency.

Thanks Zach , Iv corrected the error . Yeah I need to get around to doing some reviews again ,just to find the time . Plus there will soon be a new addition to the family ,so time will be even more scare  . Ill try and get something posted soon ,even if it be just a quick review with some pics and impressions . That Green Knightly is really nice , Sonny did a bang up job on it , its got a great edge now and the scabbard just looks great . Iv been meaning to ask you Zach , how are you enjoying your new Borderwatch ?

No worries, mate, and many congrats on the family! Good to hear--I'm a fan of the stock Knightly and yours is just beautiful. The BW has been lovely; I'll shoot you a PM with some details.
