I'm looking for examples of the different colours oferred by Sonny/CSS.
I see the colours he has as options but I need to see them on swords-- and I'm not always sure if I'm seeing the colour I think I am. (as in not sure between antique brown, and rust, etc...just an example- I'm looking for as many colour examples as I can get)
If you have a sword and know what colour you ordered for it could you post a pic or a link so I may get a better idea?
Thanks!

Is the color chart on the CSS website I looked for one and could not find it?

johnapsega - if you check any sword for sale it should have drop down menu choices under the main pic with scabbard and grip colour selection
Aaron and Lunman- thanks! Just what I need!
Keep it coming anyone else please.

john, thanks. chris--Happy to help. And chuckinohio does have an example--his new warsword has a rust scabbard. But he said the one picture he did have didn't show the color well. Maybe he could take another?

I'm really diggin' the colour scheme on your Venetian. Would you say oxblood is a brighter/lighter red than this antique dark red? (I know it says 'dark' in the name... bear with me if you can )

Thanks, mate--I dig it too. As for oxblood, I've not seen any oxblood products from Valiant yet, but generally it indicates a bit more brown in the red. I have an Albion oxblood grip and it's "brown-er" compared to the Venetian, but just as dark. The "Dark Antique Red" as it was called on Christian's website (I'm assuming it's the same as the 'Antique Red' on the Valiant site) is a wonderful deep red that reminds me of...I dunno, vampire blood or something. It's my absolute favorite grip color. Here's Albion's oxblood:

After seeing a comparison, Luna, you've converted me. I've had oxblood in mind for the leather on one of my designs, but the antique red is simply gorgeous and would suit it so much better.

Hah! I think it's a lovely color. People sometimes look at me funny when I say I want my dream "ranger sword" to be red--this is why. Green's still my favorite color in everyday life. But give me my swords in Antique RED.

Blue's my favorite in everyday life, but I'd prefer antique red or a dark green since I've rarely seen a good purple or blue that didn't look nearly black, except for Sonny's work with the latter.

Thanks for the input ghost-- as I said I haven't had the valiant oxblood in-hand to compare. The "blood" description is pretty accurate to the antique red, though.
