That only makes me want my Writhen Rapier even more... it's long been my favorite production Rapier and the one I've wanted the most... I didn't know it was based of a specific piece in history... ...argh. I must have it. I guess that means I'll have to sell my second Favorite... the German Rapier... to get it. Any takers?

The A&A Cavalier, this one had completely slipped from the brainwaves for some reason. Perhaps my lust for the Buxom Dresden should be transferred to this more svelte beauty.
Have you handled a Dresden Dave? I really am enamored with its looks, but those stats give me pause.
Come to think of it, assuming I would part with the simoleans, A&A would probably do a Dresden hilt on whatever blade one desired no?

Yes. Have you considered the German Rapier?

Oh, I was scrambling for pics and stats when you first dropped the hint, trust me. The German is thrust oriented, and I want more of the Cut N Thrust type, like the Munich or the Town Guard. Although, if you are in a "Get rid of my A&A pieces" mood You know of which I speak

No. It will go too well with my Writhen Rapier... if ever I get it.

You are correct though, those two would complement each other well.

Nope. Haven't been any where I could get my hands on one. Talked to Ryan at KoA about it. He tried to spin the good points, but it's an awful lot of weight to handle on that relatively dinky hilt. Got to wear some serious gauntlets to support that sword. No finesse. The rider wears half armor. Absorbs a few licks just so he gets a line up to smash you with that mutha.

Looks like the Cavalier has moved up in the hit parade.
I'm sure that my wrist bones would be a protesting after flailing about with the Dresden.

While I am by no means within financial reach of said sword, I'm rather enamored of the Serenissima. Granted, yes, it's more a Side-sword than a rapier, but damn it all if that beautiful simplicity doesn't just push all of my buttons.
