Hi all! Finally decided to find the new web site forum and get an account. First of all, I want to say thank you to all of you wonderful folks who wished ShadowHowler a Happy Birthday. It was nice to see that even though I wasn't there to celebrate his birthday with him, a bunch of you took the time let him know he's cared about and old  As far as the swords go, everything I know I learned from Sean. What a good teacher! I originally joined so I could keep in touch with Sean and his hobby whislt I was out and about. I love the passion he has for his swords and that passion has passed onto me. While I'm not as knowledgable as Sean, I have a couple of my own swords in the "collection", and can't wait to get back and cut with them! I'm hoping to learn even more now that I'm here. I noticed that most of the folks who were at the old forum are here along with some new folks. I'm looking forward to chatting with all of you again. While I still engage in retail therapy while I'm out and about, I haven't spent nearly as much as the last time. BTW, For those of you who know about the epic carpet saga, I'm still waiting for it to be displayed. Sean currently has it wrapped up and out of sight so his blood doesn't boil over everytime he looks at it! This is the only advantage he's enjoying of my not being there right now. Ciao for now! ForestFox

Y'na know Sean, she did mention a couple of swords in her personal collection...and we do have a classifieds section...and I'm sure many othe formuties would love the chance to help offest the cost of the rug... - of course I'm just playin' Come to think of it that would not be a good precedent to set being that you have many more swords that would then be at risk... Safe travels fox

 STFU you peanut gallery ^%&$#@... The swords in the collection that are Foxy's have been custom made for her... and are among the few swords in my collection that will never be up for sale or trade. Her Fox-Jian from Brenno and her Chief's cutlass from BKS. She also informed me once that if I ever sold/traded my Tinker XIV Ridding Sword she would do bodily harm to me... so even tho that ones mine, it stays so I get to continue breathing. After all... i may be bigger, stronger, faster, and have a better reach with a blade then my little Foxy Chief... ...but swords don't stop bullets, and she is a decent shot.

LOL (and of all places at work too) Ahhhh, - how would you put it? the iNtErWeBz is full of nuts, of course- it's the world wide peanut gallery I forgot about the chance of being shot at- do you have any katanas that can cut through a tank- I've heard they can also stop bullets. I too am married and I belive the quote my brother used in his 'Best Man' speech is suitable here: ' have learned that only two things are necessary to keep one's wife happy. First, let her think she's having her own way. And second, let her have it.' -Lyndon B. Johnson (no gun required, just good old common sense ) p.s. I love my wife, I'm sure you love yours. I cite the quote as it was used by my brother; heartfelt and with kind intentions

Well put, dear Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I'm currently waiting for a phone call from one of my Sailors so I can go to bed. Weather is such a bother these days. No rest for the Chief. . .

It's not too bad. Had to adjust to some of the sutble differences, but overall, not too shabby. I'd like to think that my computer skill level is that of techno-tard, so if I could figure it out, it must be good!

Welcome back fox, we missed you even if shadow didn't! Just kidding. As a husband who works in the construction field it is very refreshing to hear how Shadow talks about you.

I don't know about you guys, but it's not bullets that I worry about. My wife is a decent shot too but it's that frosty glare that puts holes in my soul!

Nice to meet you Mrs. Shadowhowler. Sean is lucky to have such a patient wife. Must be some mighty good deeds he did in his many past lives.
