I'm not referring to shopping for swords. I'm talking about everyday shopping. I almost bought an 8 dollar jug of apple cider just because I noticed it. I'm not even sure if I like cider I buy 2 litre pop bottles now, no more cans, check for sales on packs of water bottles all the time, stuff like that. Seems like every aisle I go down the deciding factor on any purchase is no longer 'do I want that flavour or this flavour?' or 'what's the best value for my money?' -now it's always 'can I cut that once it's empty?'Am I the only one? :?:

when I had my sword, nothing changed for me. WE always had bottles due to my grandmother and grandfather (rest his soul) went through like 10 2 liters a week. 5 was coke (grandmother) and the other 5 was diet sunkist (grandfather was diabetic). I always had something to cut. I tried some iron wood and it cut that with no problem.
(Sword broke as the blade its self had a defect in it....dont think it was hardened like they said it was. Whats even worse was when I ordered my sword....the company went out of business....go figure)

I calculate potential things i could buy in sword value. Lets say that this new computer monitor cost half a sword... hmmm... is it really worth half a sword ? Puts things in perspective you see ? But my wife hates it when i do this, i'll give you an exemple : we currently need a new stove and since a stove is worth a full sword...hmmmm... i think its gonna be a hard round of negociations...

THIS. I do this all the time. I'm getting ready to do a month-long independent study in the UK next semester and the cost of EVERYTHING keeps running through my head as value in swords. Airfare is an Albion--which model depends on when I buy the ticket. The grant I'm applying for could be a few full swords, split among 3 people. I'll need at least two swords worth of food money, and a sword's worth for the program fee.....
Etc. Etc. Etc.
