Great collection and beautifully presented. (The kissaki + flower must be your trademark )

I like the feeling of quiet contemplation these photos evoke. Very nice!

For being pictures of "dangerous weapons" the photos are oddly peaceful.
Some kind of a Zen thing going on there, the blades seem to be in repose and instill a sense of calmness in the viewer.
Your photo skills are excellent, and your collection demonstrates that you have a discriminating palate.

Beautiful collection, Mark. I agree with the others; your photography is outstanding. You might give some thought to the calendar idea...tons of software to make it really easy. I think Walgreens and some other places will even put it together for you. You just supply the pics. Anyway, I would buy a couple for sure. Could be a cool little project, or a way to raise money for the forum, etc. Thanks for sharing! ~wp

My Current Collection Earlier collection threads and pics contain a lot of retired pieces . Some of my current pieces haven't been documented by me . For these reasons(and insurance purposes I decided to take pics of my edged weapon collection today. A couple of these are just guests passing through , but the majority are "essentials " that will last as long as I do. Those that have reviews have links to said reviews. Due to the freaking irritating picture issue here you can view these photos here : zenblades.proboards.com/index.cg ... &thread=71 My friend Doho of Yorkshire was on hand to help me . a pile of steelLaird by Lundemo Arms & Armour German Bastard SwordEvolution Arms XIIa.4 dressed by Crusader Monk Evolution Arms XVIII set (Phat Bastard and 1557) Evolution Arms XIIIa Ronin Katana Angus Trim Legend Line Prototype "Moonbrand" Albion Maestro Line Sovereign Dressed by Sonny Suttles (Jon Sarge Design) Albion SquireCastle Keep (Rob Miller) Type-H VikingAngus Trim 1508Albion RegentJohn Lundemo - Longship Armoury Verrimus PrototypeLonely Wolf Forge Coffin Hilt Shobu (MKR Design) "Masahiro" BambooRonin Katana Dojo Pro #2Hanwei Wind & ThunderKensei Kiyomaro (previous version review) Dynasty Forge Bushi ShobuDynasty Forge FF Bushi Katana James Raw Katana mounted by Fred Lohman Hanwei KaeruRonin Katana Dojo EliteRonin Katana 1095 DH Prototype My first "sword " a machete I found in the woods as a boy Traditional bone-handle Columbian Machete Hawks : Stuart Willis (the late) Spike Hawk Butch Silver SBG Custom Hawk 3 Fallen (Lyndon Driggers) Mouse Hawks Tinker - Trim Camp knife refitted by Gus to be our wedding cake knife Tinker-Trim Winchester Bowie OKC Marine Fighter Olsen OK benchmade fighter Schrade Oldtimer Generic Antler handle hunter Zero Tolerance Hinderer Ken Onion Ripple Various Gerbers various folders and the obligatory throwing star

For me the Laird is your most enviable sword but a few of the other's are not far behind with a quick nod to the XIIa.4 and the XVIII set, very nice Marc you have a flare with the camera.

You don't know the half of it... I've handled the Laird sword, and it is my favorite two handed sword, ever.
