An apologetically late Thanks Chris! He's not getting any smaller… 6 weeks old and he's growing out of 6 month size clothes... remember this? well, now its this… not done but taking shape! and so… there is a little progress happening… when I finish getting the blade in shape, I'll begin with the bronze (it's all cast, but there's a bit of fitting and detailing… you remember, right? hahaha) This is getting to be familiar ground...

Hey Edward - and everybody - my apologies for taking so long to respond... and for not having any good news right now.
Since around the end of July I’ve been, under doctors orders, taking it very easy... trying to avoid (or delay) the next round of epidurals in me spine - the lumbar (lower back) injections aren’t that big a deal, but the cervical (neck) injections are a bit less fun - last time the Doc had to duck tape me in position to the table before sticking me... hows that for some damn redneck surgery, eh? hahahaha but it worked... for a while
Its the bending over the workbench that agrivates my neck bones for some reason. So I haven’t been doing that. The Doc reccommended I ease off for a month or two to allow the inflamation to dissipate before getting at it again. I think I’m feeling ready to get back on that hoss in a week or two. I will most certainly share the good news soon as it happens!

Until then, follow your doctor's advice! --Edward

quick and somewhat disappointing update - I’ve recently been much engaged attending to my Dad and my terminally ill step-Mom down in Florida, that and finishing a couple of wall sculpture pieces (real estate taxes due this month - gotta make the cash...) have kept me away from our beloved Warriors til now... But - first thing Monday am I’ll be on ‘em!
More soon

Thank you Edward. Its funny how the wheel turns - I've gotten pretty much used to accepting thats I'm an old man now (you're only as old as you feel - riiiggghhtt…); so dealing with my Dad - who I guess we've got to describe as "ancient", not old, throws a whole new layer of perspective into the mix. He's hanging in there; life's not so easy or pleasant for him these days though. My Step-Mom, who has pancreatic cancer, is wearying under that burden - but still shows sparks of the vitality that drew my Dad to her in the beginning. Its definitely the end days for them, not easy or pleasant (again) but very important and valuable for this last chance to celebrate our shared time together. Grateful. here's pics again of the newest GreenMan from Castle Greybeard: Attachments:

Friends, the only news I have to share right now... I wish I didn’t. My StepMom, JoAnne, passed away earlier this week. She was a wonderful lady and brought much joy to all who were lucky enough to know her. Her sparkle diminished, but it never left her until she left us.
