But lets not limit the weapons to just swords, lets say all non modern weapons. And you can base this off of your body, mind, social life, whatever. I just thought it would be an interesting subject to bring to the forums.
I'll start off.
I could probably be best described as a hidden dagger. As much as I wish I could have claimed to be a bastard sword or a type XIII, I'm probably just sitting in a boot, or up someone's sleeve.
Here's why.
I'm a rather unassuming individual. I'm quiet, reserved and "outgoing" is never a word used to describe me. At first appearances, people usually don't view me as a threat, hell, would you view a 250 lb guy with a goofy smile on his face as a threat. But my friends tell me that I move quicker then I should, which I suppose is a compliment.
But, if action needs to be taken, I'm on it.

Hey, this is a cool topic! ^^ Man, that's a toughie. Nihonto, definitely, but which one? I think I'd end up being a sort of battered, old unokubi zukuri o-katana in shirasaya and in need of a polish, origami and koshirae long lost to the ages. Why is this? My favorite blade geometry is a well-done unokubi. 'Koshirae lost' because I used to compete in horse shows and sing in a band, but those days are long behind me, so my 'flash' is gone. 'In shirasaya' because I spend most of my time in gi pants and a t-shirt unless I'm having company or have somewhere I need to be. 'In need of a polish' because I never do anything with my hair and could stand to drop a few pounds, as well as very rarely apply cosmetics of any sort. 'Sort of battered' because of life, as I'm a valedictorian of the School of hard Knocks. 'In need of oirgami' because I've lost most of my important paperwork and need to either get a new copy or update what I have. But find me some koshirae and give me a polish and man do I clean up and cut well!

I'd be a very small pocket knife... Just because I don't find the need to overcompensate for anything.

Gotta agree with Odingaard, as such, I think I'd be a CRKT ashworth turtle. Just because it'd be neat.

Pattern welded migration era sword, a bit shorter than most others, but wide, made of both soft and hard materials.

I gotta agree with Greg, but with a twist. Instead of a hidden knife, I'd say I'd be a xiphoid (for those unfamiliar, it's the proper term for a wrist mounted blade attached to a device that allows it to shoot out; think Jigsaw from Saw or Altair/Ezio from the Assassin's Creed franchise) because I'm there if action needs to be taken, but for the most part, I excel at what I do so much that I'm somewhat neglectful of others.

Cool topic, here it goes. I am a "weapon-mutt". A little bit of everything in a 5'11 scabbard. I am sharp (wit wise), so I could be any broad-sword, short-sword, katana, etc; I am refined (raiper, small-sword, etc;), rather blunt at times (mace, flail, club), and very strange most times (hunga-munga or any other odd weird weapon you can think of)

I would imagine I would be a smith's first attempt at a sword. Nothing special or useful, but necessary.

I think id be something short and stocky. A sword that has tendencies to be blunt and sharp witted at the same time. Something that has to be handled tightly as I'd slip away easily. And when sheathed I'd be raring to get out and carve up the world..

A Falchion. Sturdy and fierce, but liked by all levels of society.

I'm pretty tall and wiry so I guess I'd be a slim XVIII one hander or so? Certainly not a broad, heavy cutter but a fast, slim cut n' thrust... at least I'd like to be ;D

fallschirmjager, + 1 for that awesome post I would probably be a old, beat up GSOW with some bends and nicks in the blade, rusty, still useable, but not in good condition anymore

A lantern shield. Seems like a good mix of mish-mashed ideas at first, but never as functional as it should have been. A wonderful and brilliant idea gone bad
