The final duel from Sanjuro with Toshiro Mifune (it's a sequel to Yojimbo) and an excelent movie. The duel in The Mark of Zorro with Tyrone Power and Basil Rathbone. It's also the movie the Waynes went to see in the origanal origen of Batman.
Some of Val Kilmer's sword work in Willow was good, especially the two swords on the catapult.

Hello all again, Great scenes all. And I had forgotten what a good movie Tristan and Isolde was. Check out the Skeleton fight scene from Jason and the Argonauts (the original). Not bad special effects for the 1960s huh? <object style="height: 344px; width: 425px"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/5yYeZMx1Y7U"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/5yYeZMx1Y7U" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="425" height="344"></object>[/img]

If you want to embed a youtube video on the forum, go up to the url of the youtube video you are watching, for example...
You'll see at the end of the url it says, "v=***********"
The numbers and letters after the "v=" are the 'name' of the video. In this case, "gRTl8FeB5Mg"
Copy that 'name.' (gRTl8FeB5Mg)
Then when you go to post your reply, hit the "Tube" button. You'll get the words: "youtube" and "/youtube" with brackets around them.
Then just drop the short "name" in between the bracketed words and voila!

I would have to say The Three Musketeers and The Four Musketeers. Not the cheesy 3 Musketeers that Disney came out with but the the ones that came out in the 70's. They both starred Michael York, Oliver Reed, Richard Chamberlain, Frank Finlay, and Chirstopher Lee. Those were by far the best on screen sword fights I've seen. Oh, yeah Ep.III wasn't too bad either.

Sword fights in Seven Samurai. So realistic. Over so fast No 10 minute chop-socky sword fight where it takes 10 minutes for the first guy to get nicked, and 5 more minutes to finally kill someone. If my memory is correct, the fights in Shogun Assassin were over pretty quick too, although there were not just swords, but other weapons used. As far as getting to see lots of exotic Chinese weaponry, Super Ninjas was great. ;D

I'm actually a little fond of this one. It's ridiculous, but satisfying for some odd reason. This is hollywood swordfighting at its most outlandish:

Here's one from The Court Jester, with Danny Kaye and Basil Rathbone. Kaye's character is hypnotized to think he's a great swordsman, and falls in and out of that belief (and ability) whenever someone snaps their fingers. Always makes me laugh! Not the best swordplay as such, but pretty good theatrical fencing. It is Basil Rathbone after all!
Cheers

PS- Thanks Lunaman! I tried to get this to embed yesterday and it wouldn't when I followed YT's instructions. Your trick is very neat! Haveakarma!
