Do we all share the same background after all?OK let me take a guess just to test it.You were coo coo about dinosaurs at some point in your life...right? ... That... doesn't prove anything... >> Am I right though?OK then, lotsa people liked them...so lets make it a longer shot. You have tried to secretly make your own sword/armour/shield in the age between 14-19 when it's considered soooo lame by the rest of the people your age. Thus the secrecy.

You scare me shitless man...Gelbooru?E-hentai?Do we all share the same background after all?OK let me take a guess just to test it.You were coo coo about dinosaurs at some point in your life...right?Anyways when it comes to hentai artists I give myself the creeps cause I developed this thing for Kagami's stuff,he's too freaking hardcore! But my guys would be shiwasu no okina and yamatogawa.Funny thing is while you might not get a job as a manga artist hentai artists are always well employed, even the worst ones...what does that tell you about people? ... I spent the majority of my childhood between archaeology and paleontology and studying all there was to know about dinosaurs, yes. Constantly. I could name them all and draw you a picture of any of them. I own Sei Sou Tsui Dan Sha, want ENN, and enjoy, as humor, the Shinimg Musume series. Though my Favorite "okina" is, well...Okina. Artist/author of Kindan no Yousei and Silent E. May or may not be related to Okina Flying Factory, hell if I know. Too lazy to find out. Speaking of terrible artists I am a fervent supporter of Gorgeous Takarada because hell, his art might be mediocre at best, but his stories are HILARIOUS. Canon Sensei, anyone? ... *looks around* Well, this thread got derailed fast. Also, Random, from now on it's officially your fault if everyone else considers us anime/manga fans to be perverted deviants to a man. Even if it is true.Yay, go us! I will take full blame. It is not something I am ashamed of. Oh, right...this was about a sword. Cool.

Not as fond of moe.imouto due to a distaste for the word "moe" but I've been there a few times. Yamaguchirow's stuff sure is uh...old. No wonder I couldn't find it. I generally prefer to shop by anthologies, myself; especially since the only con carrier, Hen Da Ne, has fallen under the impression that certain genres of the franchise have become "illegal" here in the US...none of which have, despite great effort, mind. First amendment does still stand in some cases. Anyway, I'm no fan of those series so it's no surprise I'm not familiar... Not too taken, though. Need to remember the artist of these two Spice and Wolf doujin I bought at AUSA. Drawn fairly well, these two. Scans don't do much for me but they're fun sometimes, and many of my favorite books I can only find scanned. My recent purchases of Gift, Your Dog, and Papa Nanka Daikirai are probably my lifes crowning achievements thus far. Plus two of the Enjeru anthologies, having a hard time finding the rest. Old books are a tough seek. ...Yes, I buy the stuff. Some 30-40 single doujin plus 22 anthologies, and more to go. Yes, it's expensive, each doujin was ~$15 from Hen Da Ne, each anthology was around 1,000-1,500 yen from [undisclosed source (what, I'm still trying to buy things, I'm not telling anybody where they are. )] but now is time for other purchases. I'm getting the impression that this year was a pretty mediocre haul; not a lot of it really raved about online. My favorite artists and circles aren't coming up with much so I don't really care. Should check out what's out sometime, though... ...HOLY semprini A REVERSE-BLADE SWORD!?!?

Well ya made me dig 'em out. They were nearly at the bottom of the stack, between the Rozen Maiden and the Zero no Tsukaima. Ai ga Horhoro, both. Some other random book not even worth mentioning, but it was better than the other dozens of Spice and Wolf he threw at me. All because I was wearing this shirt: www.1999.co.jp/eng/10071916Granted, the day prior I was passing by (his crowds have gotten much smaller, I've noticed) and was wearing this: www.1999.co.jp/eng/10057278 and he tried to sell me Toradora. Lucky for me, the art was bad in all of them. I used to be that guy (okay one of them) at the front of the line (or close to it) to the Dealers Room at every Otakon just so I could thrust my elbow in for first picks at Hen Da Ne's stuff, but they've gone to crap as far as I'm concerned. Shame they're pretty much the only ones selling anything. Not that I was fond of paying $12 for a ¥500 doujin....... Also, my armpits aren't that bad. Though he did once try to recommend me some Pretty Cure books based on a Cure Black mini plush I had hanging off my badge and the "best one" he handed me I gave back on page three saying "My Nagisa does not have a semprini." Futa seems a favorite fetish of theirs. I guess they think it makes them..."hen," da ne!? LOLOLOHGODIHATETHESEGUYS. *cough* Only 168 GB? Sheesh, I guess I'll see what's interesting. Oh, right, kubikiri, yes. The classic "REAL REVERSE-BLADE"...thing!

Ah, yes, the sword booths. J&J is as good as it gets. At least they carry some Hanwei. I've only been going to Otakon since '05. Pretty sure I've seen those guys before...
