You are a good job sir.
As for a website, we have one, it just isn't worth visiting because there isn't anything on it. We need to find someone reliable to make it work for us.

Ahh...there's the problem; you don't have a webmaster so you can't avail yourselves of the millions of shoppers online. Need to update your business model (or whoever the owner is) - railing against folk who shop online is definitely not a way to endear yourselves to the user/customer base here.
Had your approach been different, I wouldn't be surprised if you ended up with at least a dozen orders from all over - because we DO like to support like-minded businesses, but definitely not semprinis and your first few posts (most likely acidex but I don't feel like looking that far back) put your firmly into the latter category.
Now, to respond to your previous post to me- if you don't carry the custom I want (I don't care for knives, certainly not customs- I find production knives to do the job just fine) where's that leave me? Still wanting that custom that you don't carry and I probably couldn't get through you w/out paying through the nose- I can't name anyone off the top of my head in which that scenario would suit.

I suppose that if we were trying to get customers a different approach would have been good. Thankfully, that was nowhere near my intent and my question was answered by most of you so I got exactly what I wanted from this thread. (can't remember if you did or not, and I also cannot be bother to check, time is money, gotta cash some checks and break some necks. you know how it is.) Acidexfoliate wanted to get your panties in a bunch and he exceeded even his own wildest expectations.
And as jabberwock stated, we have several custom and one of a kind swords, but none by the makers you listed. But I've always found that production swords get the job done just fine, and there was a nice long section where we were discussing how not "through the nose" our prices are but looking that far back is really hard after all.

I don't see how a retailer can have a custom at all. By definition, a custom is a sword specifically made for someone. The only way to get a custom sword is to go to a maker and commission one. Specifications are unique to that person's requirements. A custom can't be stocked. I guess that can be done through a retailer, but that just seems like an unnecessary step and unneeded expense. And owl, let Acidexfoliate know that purposely getting people's panties in a bunch (one of my favorite expressions ) is not very nice.

You three have said that you are individuals with different agendas but given the tone of some of your posts it is hard to distinguish between you. If arrogance was a positive character trait, all three of you would be the alphas trhat you try to portray.

Acidexfoliate may have wanted to stir people up but he managed to ensure that if you guys ever get an on-line presence, most people here will avoid it like the plague. Most boards I'm on ban people for that kind of behavior.
Jabberwok, you might want to reign in your employees on these boards unless you want them to cost you business.

If we worked with the maker to have something made to our specifications then it would be a custom, just not yours.
Sure I'm not here for the sole purpose of making guys like the 14th forsaken get all choked up, but when some dickbag makes sweeping generalizations about stuff that they have no way of knowing anything about, it causes me to lash out.

TheOwl has inferred that i'm not being helpful and that some of you that he's conversed with are nice people, so i reckon thats all i got. jabberwok as our boss, i never........ grumblegrumblegrumble

That's about enough of this i think... We hope that all new relationships will blossom here, unfortunately that is not always the case. Some of our guests have not exactly been as respectful as they should have been. And likewise, we were not exactly the gracious hosts that we could have been. Either way, this thread has outlived its usefulness. - LOCKED
