Darn that's a good cut. Thanks for the picture and all the comparrisons, my Windlass war sword sags just about the same amount and I was never quite sure how close to "acceptable" that was, but personally wasn't too bothered by it.

now THERE we go: proof that the sword cuts well and a measureable look at the flex. I think my 304 droops just a little bit more than that and it is a wonderful cutter.

Yup... my AT304S is like that as well. I'm like Tom in that I was forced awhile ago to reconsider some of my expectations about a swords felx... how much is good, bad... and I have learned a lot since then. I'd say your concern for the 'sag' was 100% normal... I had the same concerns early on, as did a lot of people I know. However, as I handled more swords, cut with more swords, and talked to more informed people... I changed my outlook on what is and is not an acceptable level of flex/sag.
