I like the looks of it, but I'm on sword-buying hiatus until may. I say go for it, shadow, and tell us what you think.

I've got to wait until after I find out the shipping cost for the SBG Longsword. I may or may not have enough in my "Random Spending" fund for one.

Ah, screw it. I bit the bullet and ordered one from Sword Nation. Hopefully, it'll get here before I head back to college, or I'll have to wait a week or two before I see it.

Yeah, I think I'll get one, but it will have to wait until summer. Minimum.

I'm very excited to finally see a jian on the market that was designed by Scott Rodell. I haven't decided whether to pick one of these up so I look forward to hearing some reviews as people get some experience with it.

Have one inbound. I'll be breaking out the antiques and the Huanuo's and doing some comparisons.

Liam, thanks for the link to chinese-swords-guide.com! I was unaware of them, and they're offering this sword for $369 AUD including postage. Sweet deal! I was saving for the Hanwei Bastard Sword, but I may have to divert the funds this way instead...
Cheers

Poohze, you are welcome. Linda Heenan, has a wonderful resource available for those of us who study Chinese Sword Arts, and I try to visit her site on a regular basis. Shipping is a big problem for you guys in the land down under, and while some of the items you can get from American and Canadian vendors, there would be (I'm assuming) a lot less customs issues buying domestically. She also carries Huanuo Forge blades, and I believe some antiques. She also has the only Chinese Gambeson & Tasset pattern I have been able to find. (It was developed as a joint effort between Mrs. Heenan and Scott Rodell.)
