I think I'm going to have to join in on this. Though I must admit mine are geared toward a somewhat different activity. ;D I present Mock 1: In use: Mock 2:

How did you get the horse heads for your noble wheeled steeds? Is that all duct tape and cardboard? That's a ton of work! *EDIT* And is the second one reworked sheet metal? Just making guesses. They look amazing either way! -MidoriKurogami of Sword N Armory.

Mock 1 definitely looks like cardboard and duct tape. And it looks really good, too.Great costume idea for the kids for Halloween in a few years... Mock 2 looks production. But if he made it, he needs to go into production and start selling it.

Oh my word, Nathan....That is the coolest thing I have seen all day! And I saw a squirrel steal a girl's pudding cup today, so that's saying something.

Those pictures are actually somewhat old. My brothers and I wanted to make it a summer custom but we didn't manage to do any this last summer.
Yes, the first suit is just made out of cardboard and ducttape. It fell apart after a few jousting sessions. I think it only lasted one summer. The second suit is all steel, ranging from ducting sheet metal on the arms to 16 gauge for the visor. mostly recycled too. the chest plate used to be a computer case.

Are you serious? A recycled computer case? You guys are rather ingenious! That armor looked really good, too!
+1 for all your hard work. ^_^
