Yes, it's my favorite too. Although their St. Maurice of Vienna is a gorgeous sword. I had Gen2 Norman (same as Templar but without the cross on the pommel) and I was quite happy with it but unfortunately it was that famous "bad heat treatment" batch so it bent and I returned to the shop and got a refund. With the refund I ordered the DT2142.

The Saint Maurice is my favorite single hander from A&A. Can you give me a link to Del Tin's website? For some reason I can't remember it. What I am hoping to do with my Norman is polish the blade and give it that Albion trademark "satin finish" using a grey skotchbrite pad. It is very similar to the Albion Reeve.

Thank you. Del Tin makes some nice swords. I like the first century B.C. celtic sword a lot. I wish they offered sharp versions.

Del Tin does make some very nice looking swords but they tend to be heavier than I like.

Some of them handle surprisingly well considering the weight. This two hander is more than 2kg but handles really wonderfully: www.deltin.net/2158.htmMy 2130 and 2142 are not fast swords and I like them the way they are. But when I handled 2158 I was amazed how light and fast it felt.

damnit canada is the worst place to live ever ! What about Europe?? I mean, I love it here but for sword collecting it's as bad as australia! Well, almost ;D Oh Jonathan, the Tinker Longsword is FANTASTIC! I bought the blade (which is coming soon) and handled the one from a friend. Yes, it is poiny, but hell, it CUTS!! Watch Shooter's video (after sharpening). It's better than the VA, I think. Well, I don't own one but the design and temper of the Tinkers is just better than the practical stuff. Ask Tom about that. So, forget the VA, get the Tinker Longsword!! I'll get on your nerves untill you do so anyways, so save yourself and buy it now ;D Noo, just kidding, I don't want to manipulate you but consider the Tinker VERY seriously!!

All of our laws are messed up and our only redeeming feature is Brenno, though it is one hell of a redeeming feature. Seriously, I love my country but our laws are stupid and the whole grey area between knife and sword gives me fits cause customs can confiscate anything they don't like and call it a knife, there are a number of Hrisoulas blades I would have purchase over the years but for those stupid custom laws. As to Jonathan choosing a sword PRAISE GOD! He is the only one who could've worked this miracle Jonathan: Hope you didn't take my comments in that other thread too hard mate, was just trying to give you a gentle nudge over the cliff Enjoy your blades, I know you will. Also the tinker LS will cut with the best of them because that is what a LS is designed to do.

It's fine, Bloodwraith. I wasn't mad at you anymore than I was mad at myself since what you said was true.

BTW guys, the tinker line is free shipping to Tom's house so, you have only the sword to pay,, no shipping to Tom's house and Tom is paying shipping to you.
great deal no?
it is an economy of average 50 to 65 dollars depending of where you live.

Man, I am itching to see these reviews. Is it weird that I'm excited for someone I've never met to write reviews on an internet forum about swords I haven't handled that he's sharpening for people I've never seen?

I know what you mean, Lunaman. I don't know why I am shipping $540 worth of swords to a man that may not even exist, and who could easily keep them.

LOL it is a funny thing, hopefully I have established a reputation. any way enough people here know my address from my past dealings with them that I'd be super easy for the cops to hunt down. and as has been demonstrated already on this forum, we hate dishonest dealings and go out of our way to punish them. but you still have good points. guys like me have to work hard to be sure that we have the trust of our comunity and that we deserve that trust.
