I hope Paul doesn't mind me linking Valiant's site, but since I'm unable to take pictures right now (camera's busted), I had to share my new beauty with the sword community somehow. valiant-armoury.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=151I have to say, everything about this sword turned out exactly as I'd envisioned it. Even the color, because green can go wrong in so many ways...lol. Thanks again to Sonny and the Valiant team!

Holy Crap! That's beautiful! I would have chosen oxblood for the grip but that green is very nice, too. Now you HAVE to make a review once you got that beauty ;-)

Its damn awesome looking... but it makes me sad because, according to Sonny, I would be unable to get one like that myself. You have the only one, lucky prick!

I'd buy one, that's for sure, too bad it is only a single run custom but that's the way the cookie crumbles.

Beautiful! I love it. Everything looks great. I wonder what the fittings from the Custom Sword Shoppe will look like?

That is beautiful! It is exactly what I was originally looking for at the beginning of my search for swords! Now I am going to have to reconsider my current choice, because getting one fancy sword might be better than getting two. It is a shame that we won't be able to use signature fittings anymore, but that is my favorite looking VA so far. I don't mean to pry, but can you give us a hint at how much it might cost us to get one similar to that?

we WILL be able to make a sword almost exactly like that once the signature Knight's Templar comes out. it's a signature sword so it can use those fittings and it's blade has been called very similar to the 304 so there you go.

Jonathan, come on! You have reconsidered your buy like a thousand times. Now, get yourself to the computer and order the damn VA practicals. You WILL enjoy them. Just stop changing your opinion every time a good looking sword walks by.

I'm sorry, there are just so many appealing swords that have been praised recently. It doesn't help that I read something that ShooterMike said about the Regal Kriegschwert cutting three to four times better than the signature Kriegschwert.

You wouldn't notice it! You have never cut anything yet! Learn how to cut with practicals and then step up to something better when you will be able to appreciate it!!! This will be your first sword or two, not last, buy it and enjoy it!

You are probably right. Does anyone know where I can get the second generation version of the 303S and 304S? I don't want the first generation. I thought that you could choose between black, brown, and oxblood as colors too. Where could I get the 303S in oxblood?

As far as I know, the first generation is all sold out. So you would most certainly be getting one of the second gen practicals. Just get the 304s, you WILL NOT be disappointed. If you want a special color on the grip, just ask Sonny... that would seem to be the kind of thing to run through the custom sword shop... not sure what the pricing would be though. Also, I'll happily post a review when I have the time. Unfortunately, I have no video capabilities, so you won't be able to watch my backyard baseball practice. I'll just show pics of the non-flubbed cuts...lol.

Yes, I suppose that it is about time that I speak with the man himself. I have the money, and I am close to making a final choice. The end of my quest is coming to an end.

I definately think that although the bristol fittings look good on a long sword i dont think they look better I think that a type V pomell would look better than the v1 IMHO
