I definately think that although the bristol fittings look good on a long sword i dont think they look better I think that a type V pomell would look better than the v1 IMHO I think most of the people who think it looks BETTER on the longsword as opposed to the Bristol were not fans of a shrot sword in the first place. I LOVE short swords, which is why I love my Bristol. ;D

I think the Bristol parts look perfect right where they are, paired on a knight's arming sword with a 26" blade.

Go check the site...less than $500 if I had to guess, as are all of the other Signature line pieces. He may have had to pay a little extra for the different fittings, but well worth it to me.
