Brenno, do you know how close the blade profile on this sword is to the UC stainless steel version? I'm thinking in terms of how troublesome it would be to modify the scabbard for the wallhanger to fit this sword instead.
If, you know, someone were so inclined.

I don't have any UC stuff I'm afraid. The blade is 50mm at the shoulder, and 6mm thick through most of its length. You know what they say, ... Long, short, thick, or thin, vaseline'll get it in. Is that inappropriate ;D

I think Brendan's is a fantastic sword that incorporates blade harmonics to make a very functional sword within historical parameters (but with a great fantasy flair!). And Brendan is a great swordmaker, no doubt about it. But I would not discount Lyon's experience offhandedly. Nor did I; I spoke out of personal preference, really. You know the saying...you do you, I'll do her. lol

You know the saying...you do you, I'll do her. I had NOT heard that before... but it sounds like words to live by.

Well, I don't think vaseline's the best thing to put on you blade (imagine that in you fur lined scabbard... arrgh) but apparently it works. I just read a thread here on SBG that someone ?wiwingti? does that.

Well, it really goes: "you do you and I'll do me" but for some odd reason 'her' found its way in there and it sounded better so...there you have it.

Can I pay with an Albion? ;D Ughhh, two hours left. I wish I could pull the trigger. I REALLY do. The Ranger and Anduril are my favorite longswords.

I believe Kid is referring to his Albion Knight. ShooterMike says it's one of their best models....

Yep, it's the Knight. And hey Jon, mine is limited edition. It's almost as good. But it looks like a gentleman has already spoken for this beauty. I do really love what you did with it, I need to get one from you when I can.

Holy crap BuckinghamFan, someone else from welly! And you work at WETA no less. You wouldn't know William Toft by any chance would you? There are hundreds of people that work here, don't even recognize the name. I'm mostly at Camperdown and Park Road these days anyway.
