I'd say sharp enough but then, I got my 303S-CT secondhand- mine's wicked sharp. I didn't bother trying to cut any paper with it...but I'm reasonably certain I could claim an arm, leg or neck if I were so inclined.

Yea, it's a pretty magnificent weapon, especially for the price. I'm becoming more impressed by it every day.

Oh man just got my 304s today and I've got to say I'm very happy with it. And about the sharpness, mine is paper cutting sharp

If that's so, you might not want to cut anything harder...with an edge that thin it'd be easy to roll it on the neck of a soda bottle for instance.

True, but were is the fun in that I bought this as a sword to cut with, I'm expecting damages. If its something beyond repair I will have to get a new one

my AT304s is so sharp I can shave with it and it has no trouble slicing through bottle necks, bamboo, hardwood dowels and up to tripple rolls of tatami. just don't become a lumberjack with it and keep it away from steels and stones and things that go "ting!" and you should be fine.

I took a notion to attack that cat litter bucket I use (or use to use) for a head on my tire pell with my VA Arming sword. I buggered up the edge a bit but the pell is headless now. I ran the blade through my belt sander a few times and it's all good.
Actually now that I think about it, I took a few whacks and stabs at the tire too. Was probably the steel belt did the damage. Yup.

I'm back at school and I already miss this sword. It's really, really superb. P.S.>> my AT304s is so sharp I can shave with it and it has no trouble slicing through bottle necks, bamboo, hardwood dowels and up to tripple rolls of tatami. You can SHAVE with yours?!?! Good God, man, you really are the edge master. Sheesh. Fancy stuff.

Good God, man, you really are the edge master. Sheesh. Fancy stuff. Reputation for a reason. most of my swords are that sharp. considering the relatively soft targets they cut I see no reason why not. were I to be heading for the battlefield back in the day I would dial back the razorness. in fact I think the Fable Blades of Shadowhowler's that I just sharpened have excellent battlefield edges, especially his dirk wich had TONS of "niku" (for lack of a better english word) but still will shave hairs of the arm though likely not the face. the edge on that one is thick enough I'd feel ok slamming it into a wide variety of hard surfaces with proper technique (as opposed to just hacking madly away), not that I WOULD do that to someone else's blade, but were it mine. . .
