The only thing I will say at this point is that those complaining about quote boxes and post versus thread distinction are not wrong. Once upon a time there were very clear lines separating everything, now it's a shade or two.
it hurtsing mine eyeses
I'm sure this will be remedied soon but it sort of surprises me it hasn't already been...

Man that black text on brown background where it tells you if you have any PMs is hard to read.

Hm... I dunno... I don't have a problem reading anything the way its displayed on my browser... and now that sizing has returned and quotes have been shrunk so they are noticably different then regular message... the new layout is kinda growing on me. Like mold. ;D

I can distinguish things and it doesn't hurt as much to look at.
Improvement noted.
Now, about that gray banner...................................

Pretty nice improvement over the last few minutes, Paul. Would it be possible to make it a Fluid skin, so it will adjust to w/e screen size someone uses? I have a somewhat wide monitor and it leaves these nasty white bars along the sides, as well as the posts being very narrow.
I could always ctrl+ the forum, but it also makes the font and pictures larger, while I think their current size is just fine.
Anyways if it can't be done, I understand, it will just provide a cleaner look in the end. I do like how things are shaping up, though.

Wow... Well, the previous version was growing on me, I was starting to like it... it looked kinda classy... but THIS... whatever this is... I really don't like this.

This is fun. Like living in a house as it's being rebuilt. (From the bathroom) "The toilet stopped flushing again!"

So, how close to "done" is it so I can make up my mind?

I dont know, I kinda like this morning's surprise, the menu and bars are easy to read, and there's better differentiation between posts and sticky posts. Although the prior incarnation had been growing on me.

BAD THINGS.
The colour scheme. Everything is the same colour. Beige, everything is beige! Its like trying to read through camouflage. Areas need some visual indication that they are separate from one another. Even with the background disabled(which helps) the combination of beige and brown isn't a winner.
Each post doesn't need a gap and those extra bars between them. It unnecessarily elongates the thread.
The font used on the buttons , search, bookmark, reply...etc isn't very clear and near the top of the page they are too close together where you would click login , help ...etc
GOOD THINGS
Having the stickeys broken away from the main threads is good.
Having the thread centred again is good.
The general composition is good. Your going to find that the more you take away the better it gets. As its been said by many before, simplicity is the key.

Oh and its nice to see that "adults" have the time to pointlessly sift through users and dish out a happy dose of smite. Really, grow up. Its a pointless, arbitrary number at best but the fact that some would take the time out of their day to bother with it is fascinating. Why no overbearing "-1" posts?
Is that really the direction you want this forum to be headed in?

Hi Avery,
As far as I'm aware I'm not complaining. I'm giving feedback with reasons for it. Isnt that what was asked for? I've also stated what I think is good. Or have you just decided to ignore that?
Everything said could be taken as subjective but I really don't see how.

Awesome retort. I'm glad sentence fragments haven't lost their appeal.
