[glow=purple,2,300]Your Welcome.[/glow] Tell your girl she has nothing to fear... I don't swing that way... except when I'm 'inside'... and then, it's about power and not about attraction anyway.

Hey Marc, if you do strip the fittings, I'll be a potential buyer for the blade (assuming I've got the cash). I might just rehilt it, but it'd also be perfect for a project I've got in mind. I don't especially like the fittings anyway - I prefer more stylized/abstract designs generally...
Cheers

I'm most concerned that it might pose an obstruction to general use and a threat to user and hardware. Not to mention it looks eager to snap off on a bad tip cut... Oh and it's just ugly as sin, anyway. Ugly? No way! I think it looks cool and unique to say the least...

Just because you have poor taste... (that was a joke in case the smilies weren't enough.)

(that was a joke in case the smilies weren't enough.) Yeah I got it, although you can never be too careful when trying to express something through text only, body language goes a long way. And yes, I suppose those terms are relative. But then again, what isn't?

Not bad, Marc. I only have one wrist watch I currently wear and use, but I've got two or three more somewhere... Mine's a Gruen I've had for five years now; titanium body and band, cost me $150 at the Wal Mart I worked at at the time. I bought it to replace the $400-something Seiko (that I bought through multiple specials and discounts at a JC Penny after getting home from college about six years ago for a meager $226.10) which ran away. To this day I have no idea where it went. Likewise the Elgin before it. I think the Gruen is staying, but it's showing its age these days. Keep having to replace cotter pins and such... Random question: when cutting, or otherwise handling your swords, do you feel like wearing a watch hinders you? I sometimes find myself taking mine off if I want to play with my swords, but it doesn't always bother me. Maybe I'm weird. (wait no I clearly am) *ahem* So, u-no-kubi, eh?

No , the watch doesn't bother me....
I have a few ultra-light and thin watches... Skagen, a titanium Citizen... I used to wear those for golf, or cutting/kata but now I am used to having a chunch of steel around my wrist... don't even notice....

I have a fossil watch my wife got me... and I've managed to hang onto it longer then any other watch. Before this one, I never paid more then 20 bucks for a watch or for sunglasses... because someone I either break or lose both all the time. I've held onto this Fossil for about 4 years now... thats a record for me.

Damn tell me about it... right now I've got a broken Citizen World Time, a broken Swiss Army watch, two broken Skagens, I've had a Tissot and 2 Technomarines stolen, 3 pair of broken Oakleys, a pair of broken Maui Jim's and i just cracked the lens on another pair of Ray-bans yesterday... AAAaaaaarrrggghhhh I could have bought like a bunch of swords with all that money....

Ok everybody, I normally do not do video, demo or public discussion of training often, as I hate getting into politics about styles , etc. I feel it is not the way of humility as was taught to me... however it was pointed out to me, and rightly so , that I could video the cuts and not myself... so I cut a few bottles today and got it on tape.
If anyone has anysuggestions about how to put the clips into one video, or to add slomo please tell me.
These are my first ever cutting vids... so enjoy.

Windows media maker usually works just fine, pretty easy to use as well. Don't know if it can do slow-mo though...

Cumulative points of 100 get you to the review team shortlist... which gives you a chance to get on the review team, which means Paul send you swords to review.... I think....
Someone correct me if I'm wrong

Aren't review points also usable as currency at SBG?
