I can not wait to see that... you cut so well with that Bushido already, and it has not been sharpened in 5-6 years! Now, with Tom's 'Lightsaber Edge' (tm) it's going to be sick. I very much look forward to those vids.

Hiroshi's Bushido turned out very nicely indeed. that nasty hanwei fake hamon is gone and the true hamon is now visible in all its subtle glory. oh yeah, it's sharp too. real sharp. it's a sweet sword I know it will cut well for Hiroshi. I am editing together a video tutorial for belt sander sharpening.

Yo, Poppers, good to see ya around the forum again. Jonis is indeed an exemplary individual, he pops up around here occasionally. Goes by the name menukisan. Thanks, Ric, it's good to be back. I'll keep an eye out for 'im.

Thanks all for the lessons. Giving the ability to observe the blade and attack angle verses the cut achieved is just great. This has inspired me to make some sort of real stand (the wooden stool is simply too low) and give a shot at abusing some plastic today (hopefully more cuts than bruises).
Thanks for posting!
