Just go to Google and put in 'Jim Hrisoulas Swords'. His site should come up.
I hope this helps.

Thanks guys. I found the Salamander Armoury site. Looks real nice....I do like that Irish Ring-Hilt Sword. I book-marked it for further reading.

But he's a great guy. Shows up now and then over on the Myspace group 'Sword Enthusiasts', as well as one or two others.

Marabunta- Where did you get that sword??? Is it a custom, or readily available? If it's custom, who made it?
Thanks, Slayer

Of the swords I currently own, this one is my favorite. This is my Hanwei Bushido. I have not yet cut with it but it balances well and should be a good cutter. Once I have some tatami on hand, and the weather cooperates, I'll see what it (and I) can do. I suspect that I'll have to update this post once my KI arrives (#26 on Brian's list). Vernon Edited to add: It looks like I need to work on the links, I've checked my post about the number game sword I received from Brian and the HTML looks the same other than the fact that I'm linking different images. Below is one of the images I posted in that thread. Why does this display but not the Bushido?

Hm... my favorite sword... I don't have anything really good at the moment. It's likely a tie between my Gen 2 Chaos sword (That thing is TOUGH and with the extra long handle is a lot more nimble then you might think, just ask Firehand.) or my newly aquired Windlass Ulfberht. The Ulfberht is every inch the sword Shootermike says it is... very light and agile in the hand a very good cutter. However, I have some new swords comming my way in the near fututre that very well may take top honors in my limited collection. We shall see.

Lots of beautiful work here Thanks for sharing everyone. Slayer, Marabunta provided a link to pictures of his impressive collection in the member's collection gallery subforum. That beauty is an Anthony Dicristofano 1050. More pics are there. Well, I only have one sword right now, so I guess that narrows it down quite a bit - my Musashi Mokko. Does it have to be my favorite then?

Thanks... long and boring slideshow ... huh? I watched the original, full length show and really enjoyed it. Nice sword HR. I need to locate a website if the Maker has one? +1 2 U for sharing the photo and specs...Very interesting piece. EDIT....Oh yeah..My favorite sword that I own. A U.S. Army Model 1913 Cavalry Saber ( AKA Patton Saber), dated 1913, one of the 200 manufactured the first year of production. Oh, thats quite a prize....in very good condition... a stunning piece.

Every time somebody mentions the Armour Class I'm more tempted to pick one up. Perhaps once I've finalized mounting and polishing et cetera my other blades...
vedearduff, it's all Paul's fault your pictures don't work. He went and made Hanwei (as well as Cheness, Musashi, and various other manufacturers) automatically turn into a link to the SMG page on each. The fact that the word becomes parsed as a hyperlink throws off the image tag URL and we get what is seen in your post. You'll have to change the directory of your pictures to NOT include the word "Hanwei" if you want the pictures to work. You could misspell Hanwei if you like.
Have a go at it and see if it works.

Marabunta- Where did you get that sword??? Is it a custom, or readily available? If it's custom, who made it? Thanks, Slayer Hey slayer, djmyhoney was correct, the sword I posted is my 1050 O-kissaki by Anthony DiCristofano, and it is most certainly not readily available ;D That kind of stuff is what I consider to be "pass down" worthy. Everything about that is perfect.....to me of course. Its not easily distinguished in the pic but for those interested the tsuka is jabara-ito style and all the tsuka fittings are from Patrick Hastings. Saya fittings are all made from pure silver including the habaki. For those not familiar with jabara-ito you can see it briefly in this pic. The ito is made up of individual strands braided and stranded together to make the wrap. Love that blade! Thanks for the comments everyone
