The one your selling? Man, that sucks... I feel for you man. I recently sold one of my fav swords... but had to do it, trying to fill in my collection in some spots and pare it down in others.

My fable blade Wraith, before you say it isn't a sword, it has the length of a short sword and more cutting power than an axe, also comes in handy for cutting through turkey leg bones and a crowbar/prybar, I think I could use it as a shovel if the need was really there.

Very nice....I'm not a big fan of sabers or rapiers, but that is a beauty, mate ;D! Thanks, but this would not be considered a sabre or rapier....mortuary hilt, back-sword or English half basket have used to describe this type of sword. cheers, Bill

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Brendan is a godsend for aussie swordaholics. He has another piece on his site that I love the look of but am still trying to decide if I really want it.

Yep...and I lowered the price "big time" yesterday. It does suck. Job situation with the Mrs. doesn't look too good and we have another little one due in May. So, some of the "toys" are hitting the road.

My favorite just became my Baltimore Knife and Sword 7 Bar Cable Damascus Broad Sword followed immediately by their/my Large Cable Damascus Dueling Dagger.

I still love my VA1701 Signature Folded Katana, 1601 Signature Katana and Wakazashi

Bloodwraith- for Brenno's sake I have to say "YES! you want it!", but for MY sake I say, "NO! It's crap, I assure you! Please believe my lies..."
Incidentally, may I be permitted to ask which of his beauties you're looking at?
Thanks BW.

Incidentally, may I be permitted to ask which of his beauties you're looking at? Given BloodWraith's taste for strange blades... my money is on that crazy new kukuri looking thing that Brendon has to sell because Adam has gone missing. Maybe he was the victem of a Drop-Bear attack?

My fable blade Wraith, also comes in handy for cutting through turkey leg bones and a crowbar/prybar I forsee the makings of a new katana like sword myth..."Fable Blades can cut through a crowbar!" Jk, I know what you meant. My fav so far would be my Sovereign, such a quick little beast.

Shadow, the Leafblade ranks 4th or 5th out of 17 in my current collection but Slayer asked for our favorites and I just had to mention the dagger and VA blades. I had also considered adding my VA Castile signature and CS Gim but I decided to keep the list shorter. And I am still really digging the Leafblade....what a sword! However, if the Leafblade becomes available for some reason you will be the first to know but I don't foresee that happening any time soon.

Nope not the khukuri, even though it is an interesting piece. The one that has had my eye for some time is the sabre he made, the other one is his revised version of farewell the darkness. I prefer to think of myself as a blade connoisseur rather than strange

I'd suggest the saber for you, mate. Although I love everything he makes, that happens to be the last on my list, as sabers are NOT my thing. But SlayerofDarkness, and Farewell the Darkness...Sweet, huh?
So yeah, go with the saber, it seems more like your style anyway ;D.

If I ever commissioned a piece from Brendan, if would be very similar to the revised Farewell the Darkness, but a more plain leaf blade with the blued blade and heat-blued fittings (to the gold color on the Fleur de Lys) with perhaps a dark, oxblood grip. Single-handed, of course. And Slayer, I'm sure if he makes a StalkerofSwordsmiths sword you'll be the first to snatch it up, eh?

Kid: Yeah I agree with what you are saying. I am finding myself drawn more and more to short swords and arming swords they just seem to be where my focus is. There is also a Himalayan Import khukuri or two I would love to own as well.
Or if Bren makes the swordofsmithsniping? Slayer would be all over that like white on rice.

I think he should change his name to StalkerofBrendan just so I get the chance to call him SoB on occasion.
