The Tod Cutler line of swords promise historically accurate designs, handling, and scabbards at an upper mid-range price. But do any compromises have to be made in order to achieve this goal? We'll let you know what we think in our review of the Tod Cutler Type XIV Arming sword.

I was also extremely tempted when this sword hit 450, but there were no hefty reviews out there to tip me over the edge! Now that I know the value is there, I'll likely go this route when it's time to acquire a type XIV. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Sharp blades are good to have, if Shire-folk go walking, east, south, far away into dark and danger.

Nice, was wondering where these came from and figured they were outsourced due to the price. Figured it was India as they look very Windlass'ish. Really like seeing the updates and attention to fit and finish for the price point. This one specifically is very Windlass Oakeshott Type XIV model with proper updates and upgrades and for not too much extra in price! Great review guys!

Looking forward to seeing what other types he offers might have to try one myself.
