Good Evening Everyone,
Has anyone ordered anything off of their sites recently and have actually received the product? I've been browsing all 3 sites and almost everything is listed as in stock but I've read a lot of things from the past where even if it was in stock it wasn't actually in stock. I would like to confirm that the "in stock" items are actually shippable if I place an order. Thanks

Huawei has nothing in stock even if they say so. Zsey and Shadowdancer have both stock and deliver in about 2-4 months.

Damn, they should be updating their site. What’s the average wait right now for Huawei?

Some people have been waiting years for either a refund or a product with no communication so I wouldn't buy from him right now

Maybe it's a "quiet quitting" situation

Maybe it's a "quiet quitting" situation I don't think they'll quit (and hope not) but it's obvious they need to sort their backlog out before even thinking of accepting any new orders. That backlog goes at least 2 years worth of work, unless they refunded so many customers that they are unable to order new materials.

I miss the days when you could order off their eBay page and get it delivered to your house with customizations within a month. I regret selling my Huawei back in 2018 as I thought it was just a run of the mill no name Chinese brand, who would have thought Huawei would be as desired as it is now like Kaneie/Kurin.

Maybe it's a "quiet quitting" situation I'm sure they are working at capacity. I just don't think they have/can scale. They became suddenly very popular during the rush on swords around 2020 but you can't just grab anyone to smith a sword or do tsukamaki.

The thing that set them apart for me was that they have a really good polisher, or had one.

What are your thoughts between the 3 brands? Which makes a better blade?

There are reports of buyers getting their Huawei pieces sent to them within normal times within the last year but like with Skyjiro, I would not want to do business with a company that has outstanding orders to fill or has ghosted buyers.
I am intrigued at the Muramasa replica Z-sey makes. I wonder if they would make a Masamune replica. Daisho baby, if I ever had some money to burn. Then again, if I had semprini you money, I'd see about getting authentic pieces.

What are your thoughts between the 3 brands? Which makes a better blade? I'd say zsey but only just. Only because zsey custom make the tsuka to fit the nakago, huawei don't and you can actually order a zsey and receive one. Really for the blade alone, I wouldn't be able to pick who is better both are quality blades for the price.
