I have had this sword for several years, oiled every two weeks, and never been used for cutting or battering home intruders. Originally I had thought that this was a Windlass creation, but it doesn’t have their usual markings, or even a “Made In” designation anywhere. I assume that it is a reproduction of a reproduction, which is why I believe it is a really nice quality reproduction. I have too say this in the interest of transparency because I was very doubtful when buying swords from brand new members here. Especially when they have an Albion for $500! $220 (Paypal) Shipping not included. Overall w/out scabbard: 39 3/4” Overall with scabbard: 43” Length of Blade: 30” Width of Guard: 11 1/4” Guard to end of Ricasso: 4 1/2” Hilt: 9” Attachments:

What does the tip look like? Jon Hi Jon, I don’t remember how to attach certain pictures, because I had two really good pictures of the entire sword from different sides, and it’s telling me that the file is too long, even though the four pictures I have up had no problem, and they took them to the exact same way. The tip is very slightly “rounded” not as rounded as a katzbalger, but it’s got better than a “factory edge” on it. Hope that helps, or even makes sense 😅 because the pictures wouldn’t attach, claiming that the link was too big, I tried to attach two videos to the post, but I don’t know if they’re visible by you guys.

Cant view video. From the size of it I think it's just the title. I had to download a photo compressor and then go to the desktop version of the forum to upload pictures.

You need to make the pictures smaller than 1MB each to be able to upload. Just resize them a tiny bit, sometimes even opening and saving in a new file is enough to make it smaller.

Thank you very much! I think I figured it out the way you said by resizing the pictures, but I had to send them from my Yahoo email, to my on the IPhone Files, where it let me make them smaller. I just put a karambit up for sale, and even though the pictures are out of order, I was able to attach them.

The scabbard definitely looks like a legacy arms product from the Philippines.

The scabbard definitely looks like a legacy arms product from the Philippines. I know what you mean because I have a few Legacy Arms blades, but I didn’t buy it from them, and Legacy Arms doesn’t make this sword. I bought it from a member on here, along with a nice Cut & Thrust Sword that is from Windlass.

It's from a group called Strongblade just so you guys know. They former Windlass employees who left and started making swords themselves, 99% of their stock is old discontinued and other Windlass models.

Looks like strong blade sell both tempered and non-tempered versions of their swords. Wonder if there's a way to test this one?

I wish there was a test as well, but I do remember that it is a reproduction of either something from Windlass or Museum Replicas. I bought it here on the forum from somebody who was getting rid of it, and a cut and thrust sword which is a straight out Windlass (this time, it actually says it on the blade) “Made In India.”

I guess you could give it a little flex test and if it's not tempered it will stay bent

Would you happen to have the weight of this? Thanks so much Not an exact, but definitely 2.5-3lbs and the weight is “centered” on the guard, not tip heavy. Hope that helps!
