FOLKS! Big sword news - Tod has just announced a line of swords for his Cutler brand! They look damned great, go check them out! I want to pick up one of those falchions so I've sent him an e-mail about reserving one. I don't think these will be in stock long

So exciting! I really can't wait to pick one up, and I am extremely excited for the number of players entering the market right now. The drive to stay historically relevant is really exciting to me, as is the relationship between some of the lines.
Seeing windlass switch their logo for the Royal Armories collab with M. Easton after Balaur came to market was cool, can't wait to see what Tod's products drive.
I expect that since these are on the same price level as Albions there will be an interesting next generation of both!

Prices are NOT unreasonable, and under Albions. I am really liking some of these...

A new mid-range line with good looking swords, reasonable prices and overseen by a reputable craftsman? Hell yeah! But I told myself no more acquisitions for the year... Either way, that clip point falchion is the best looking of the lot to me.

The Type xiv caught my eye. I'll be getting one of those.

Anyone know where and how these are made? Along with his daggers? He's not doing each one is he?

I always assumed the blades for the Tod Cutler line of knives and daggers were forged in China and then assembled in the U.K. to keep the prices low.
I imagine this may be a similar set up to the Royal Armouries line.

Nice!
I’m glad falchions and messers are getting some love and attention.
Hopefully, larger scale makers will see enough success to move beyond the more commonly encountered Types 1A, 3C, and 5C.
Dare I hope for a diverse line of kriegsmessers?

Looks the XIV and the Hanger either have not come into stock yet....or blew out. Both are preorder status while the other two can be added to cart.

If it says pre-order, then they already sold out of the first batch

They all went pretty fast. I wonder how many there were.

I had the chance to see them all in person at Sterckhof and they were great! I picked up one of the Wakefield hangers myself (the very first one they let me know ). Very fast and nimble. It was a close call between that one and the Messer for me.

Anyone know where and how these are made? Along with his daggers? He's not doing each one is he? I am pretty sure he does the Tod's workshop line items mostly himself or at least he has more oversight on these items as they are made. The Tod Cutler line is made with Chinese steel and is done by other craftsman's employed/paid by him is my understanding though others may know more about this. If I am wrong on this someone can chime in. Regardless his quality in both lines is top notch and I have heard very few to almost no complaints on his products regardless of where and who makes them
