In case not everybody saw the BN official sword 8-) . This is an absolute killer. Wow. Talk Vorpal sword, but a real nightmare monster slaying Vorpal sword. The geometry and proportions are very nice and clean, while the leather work, the rigged patina on fittings composed with the virgin looking blade, the handle - these together make for an unique looking piece, one of it's kind.
Congratulations BN, I am very impressed.

a seax has different style fittings it's more a single edge viking sword, but thanks anyways dude and thanks to all who like my new dayfinder I hear you there.. for whatever reason when I looked at it originally it looked way shorter, so I figured it was just somewhat of an a-historical seax. Great blade either way. I remember I had a Jeff Helmes baltic style single edged viking era (woof, mouthful) sword. Super thick spine and the best cutter I've owned before I got a XVIIIc from M. Sulowski.

Hi all i am back. My father is in hospital since two weeks ago in bad condition and had aquired Covid-19 as well. He is now off from breathing machine but to say he is fine would be a sad joke; "better" may be right. We will see. Anyway, i want to show around some of Holgers latest acquisitions... Peter Szabo Viking/Dane/Tomahawk hybrid with boar engraving; very beautiful, very good balance in every position. Cant describe it better; if you grip under the head you instantly feel like carving, hold it under the leather area you feel like making small firewood, and in the lower third... yes. Lindisfarne and so on. Second item is the Kurgan inspired bastard sword made by Ryan Sword, nice buy from our Tiers1 in here. Holger is kind of impressed, and so am i. The blade is wonderfully straight and even. Its not super light, but well balanced. Some of that distal taper thing is there too. Guard and pommel are of steel, its clearly magnetic. Overall length: 110 cm Blade length: 84 cm Blade width at guard: 5,5 cm Blade thickness at guard: around 6 mm Blade thickness at end of fuller: 4 mm Blade thickness at 3 cm from the tip: 3 mm Weight: 1640 g POB: 6 cm from guard

United Cutlery Honshu Boshin Double Edged Sword. A really good really cheap sword, everything straight and tight. 1173g, hard to find the weight in store websites. It has a good handling, much better than my Boshin kat, despite having not much distal taper. But the mass distribution is good due to the changes in the cross section from ricasso to single edged forte to double edge foible. Handles similar to my CS Jade Lion Gim, so really not bad. Grip is hard, needs grip band. (edit: needed grip band ) Only complaint is a very tight scabbard fit.

I was going for an ocean/storm theme, with the blue tsuka for the water and the grey saya for storm clouds. I think it works pretty well.

Just a copy & paste of Holgers post on FB; no more text from me sorry. New arrival! LOTR inspired "Strider Sword"; best workout of this iconic weapon besides the licensed UC wallhanger... and this babe here is fully functional and packs a punch against Orks, stinkin' Nazghul, cheeky Elves or old farty stewards not willing to recognize your bloodline and your claim for the throne of Gondor! Made from 5160 spring steel in the Philippines (a lot of great craftsmen over there) and sold by Kingdom Of Arms. Blade Length: 35.75” Overall Length: 46.25” Handle: 10.5" Grip Length: 6.7” Weight: 3.75 lbs (against 5 lb 14.2 oz Darksword Armoury version!) P.O.B.: 3.5'' Below Hilt

Beautiful sword. Very nice. Yes, very nice. A lot lighter than DSA model and much better grip, but also much heavier than CF Borderwatch.

Beautiful. Your pictures do it much more justice than the ones on Kingdom of Arms's website, where it doesn't look very good, imo.

I really like that. Almost bought this one myself a few times.
Wish my wife would purchase me a blade sometime. But she's busy making sure my balls are in her purse.
