I literally just got done watching Highlander. Excellent film. Too bad they never made a sequel. At least the TV series was pretty decent.

lol
Cavill reboot in development. hopefully it pans out because we don't want it to bomb and turn Henry's career into Lambert meets Adrian Paul's.

Ame Agaru. In some hard times now myself, so it can be a rough watch, but the attitude of the protagonist is inspiring.

I ordered In The Mouth of Madness, Lifeforce and The Keep, films I watched and liked decades ago but were never broadcasted in Free-TV since or available in DVD stores before Amazon. Spooky stuff from the 80s and 90s. Watched and enjoyed the first two already, at least an axe in Mouth and a sword in Lifeforce (and a really good actress!!).

Redbad and The Last King. Didn't like Redbad much, too many cliches. The Last King was better, nice skiing scenes.

TheLastKing was great. Redbad was pretty long, I paused it halfway to use the head and then decided to watch something else. I wanted to like it.

Both the 1930's and 1950's versions of The Prisoner of Zenda, followed by Royal Flash. I heartily recommend watching all of these in sequence, though, IMHO, for saber fencers, all 3 are comedies.

Last week I rewatched the 1973 version of The Three Musketeers. Some of the newer renditions are pretty good, but '73 is still my favorite.

There are historical documentaries with swords! No dramaturgical story BS and they use shields before, after and during (!!!) battles. Watch Reclaiming the Blade! It is an excellent sword documentary with the best names from the industry including Bob Anderson and King Aragorn himself, Viggo Mortensen! Really good.

Not sure if this counts, but for nostalgia we just rewatched The Hobbit (1977 version). The amazing animation stands up even today.

A few nice blade-fighting scenes in that one. I tried to watch the original Blade movie (the one with Wesley Snipes), but it just wasn’t the same as I remembered it.

chick was cute. can't remember if i finished season 1 or stopped during season 2.
i would have enjoyed it more if i were to drink at the same time except i only drink a few times/yr bc i'm a fuddy/duddy.
I've been meaning to watch Blade again, and probably would be down for even #2 and 3.
the swordwork in Arrow isn't great but I enjoy the first few seasons. Just finished S2 and may watch through S5. Too bad Adrian Paul wasn't the big bad for his time in S6 or 7.

Sharp blades are good to have, if Shire-folk go walking, east, south, far away into dark and danger.

I watched Risen (2016, Fiennes) for the third time. I really like the doubting few of Clavius and the general absence of BS. (Two gladii and a few spears)

Angel Heart At least one razor. I realized now why Angel is so calm in the elevator downwards: He has qualified for a manager job where he's going to!
