Good afternoon.
I'm looking to acquire an Albion Alexandria.
As of April, 2022, purchasing directly from Albion has a wait time ETA of the mid 20's.
I thought it wise to cast my metaphorical line into the realm of 2nd hand swords as well while I try and figure this out.
Should someone be willing to depart from this masterpiece of a blade, I am willing to buy it off of you for price more flexible than you might expect.
This is going to be a tool, not a wall-hanger, so I am entirely fine with scratches or slight damage to the blade and hilt. If you did a review on this piece, scratched it up, and wanted to get your money back, I'm your guy.

I literally almost cried. I ran home from work to buy it and as I was checking out, it sold. Talked to Mr. Sigman from Albion and their wait time is 18 months.
Still looking y'all. As of Dec, 2022, I'll out bid anyone.(Within responsible reason.)

Id just buy at the retail price or whatever someone selling for. No reason to overpay. Sorry you missed the last sale. Ill keep my eye out for you. Do you live near west coast? Albiom will be in Longbeach in February and then Vegas soon after for two separate events with their swords. I can pick one up for you if I make it there and you dont. Not sure if im gonna make it yet though. Edit actually my bro still lives in SoCal so I can have him pick it up if I dont fly out from NYC. Christian short is selling sane bladr type on forun right now, but Angus Trim is going to be listing his own same type blades after his Az event soon too. |

If I don't get it in my hand within about 8 months, I will have to wait to 2025. I actually canceled a commission from Albion thanks to this. I've been in contact with Stephen Lockwood about a custom piece. At not much more, I could get a custom XVIIIc. I am not west coast, I'm in NJ. (I can see New York if I stand on a hill.) Regarding your offer to pick one up, give me a day or two to get back to you, ok? I have to decide between that and a custom Stephen Lockwood pattern. Yeah those shows are quite a way out still so if you want me to look for you just reach out before the longbeach show and Ill have my brother swing by. It will be feb 17th to the 19th I believe, I dont know for sure if they will have an Alexandria on hand but they usually good selections at the event. |

Between the February event and July event, alongside random sales that pop up here and Kult of Athena, i'd say your best bet is to just snatch one ome of those ways. Rather than do an 18 month long order wait. Myself or others like the link given could pick up an Alexandria at event for you, which I suspect will be there.

I've been on this forum for only a few months and I've seen so many scammers that I'm hesitant to go with a buy-at-event service. I contacted @lord Newport regarding his offer, but I don't suspect he'll chose to represent me, which, I can respect that decision, as I do have a quite low post count. I'm not ruling out your own generous offer, toddstratton1 , but I am extremely wary and suspicious or most, and I need time to think. I hope you aren't offended. I'm just trying to be smart. If Lord Newport doesn't respond, I would be very grateful if you wished to help, given we had a responsible mechanism to prevent a scam. I can't tell you how many times I've heard someone tell me to pay-pal-friends and family them and show me stock photos as proof...  Do you think it reasonable to expect an Alexandria to pop up within the next 6 months? I've seen them only pop up 2nd hand online once every 3-4 years, and I just missed that last one from last week by half an hour. |

If i pick it up for you id pay for it myself and you can pick it up from me in person in NJ after I ship it back to myself. Provided it ends up being at one of the events. Id say also good chance it shows up on forums but youd have to grab it quick, unless someome pms you before public listing it. But only do deals with long time trusted members or those accepting g and s. Its not a discountinued sword so way better chance of having one show up soon than my damned enternal search for an Albion Gallowglass lol

@lord Newport That's literally me at this point. I am a patient soul though, I'll get an Alexandria eventually. However, looking at the date I started this WTB, I'm wondering if it wouldn't have been faster to order one from Albion. |
