It's that time of year again and this event is practically in my backyard this year in Costa Mesa, CA and I am thinking of going again. In the past, Albion and Arms&Armor have had displays and been selling swords at the event. We will have no idea what they have until the morning of the 17th.

As a favor to fellow members of this forum, I have purchased swords for SBG members several years in the past who have paid me in advance for the sword at the time of purchase and the professional packing and shipping prior to shipping. This is a way fto get a production sword you want without the extended wait most of the higher quality production houses currently quote.
I will do this for a limited number of people as the entire process is time consuming and if there are too many people, confusing for me. You need to have already made the buying decision / have the funds ready before contacting me with your list of acceptable purchases. I will o inspect each sword for blatant / visible flaws only and text you a photo of it to show you it is there and available. I am not the guy to ask "how's it feel" / handling etc...
I provide photos of the sword itself, in various stages of professional packing as well as the final shipping label for your approval before shipping. I will ship ONLY by UPS and FedEx, your choice, but if there are ANY shipping issues, they are on you. If there is a problem I will reasonably represent you with the shipping company as best as I can. I will NOT ship out of CONUS and I will not use USPS. Full insurance is required. Last year I had someone try and rip me/shipper off in this process wanting to claim a sword that was delivered, albeit late, never was received and was going to let me file a claim on their behalf. I wasted a lot of time and energy in this process but found out at the last minute that there was a delivery confirmation. Needless to say I was pissed and disappointed.
Those of you for whom I have done this for before are welcome to hit me up. Everyone else will be subject to my vetting. Once I agree to represent you, you should give me a list of the swords YOU DO WANT if they are available. If the sword you want is there in the morning of the firsts day, you will send me via Zelle or Paypal Friends and family the entire amount of the sword. The manufacturers will mark the swords as sold to me and leave it on the display table or put it aside in their booth. People who are interested in the sword model you have purchased and specifically ask, may handle the sword under the manufacturers supervision. The display inventory is specific display inventory and the swords may have been handled at the manufacturers showrooms or other sword events prior to your purchase. They are new, never cut with and have whatever manufactures warranty any new sword may come with.
