I like a good farce. The original idea of the thread was good I think. Just a bit of fun imagining the obvious never woulda happened and no real answer. I run into trouble when I take things too seriously. I didnt really mind it either originally, but the fact of the matter is that this rascal is attempting to make a point that has neither the supports of reason nor logic, nor anything else for that matter. Declaring historical armor irrelevent by questioning it in a modern-day arena... ridiculous. Gunit, im not trying to make war with you. Please keep you forked tongue behind your teeth and I will do the same. However, If you choose to speak with historical accuracy and logic in mind, I will hail you as a friendly forumite. what ever |

It seems I was right about this young fellow... How old are you? Seven? if i was seven i wouldnt even know what balls are So I suppose you dont have any, as most males have them in sufficient amounts to warrant investigation, despite age. |

Sad times indeed with firery Rammy must become the peacekkeper. I agree with everyone that this thead is rather puerile and I also agree that many of gunit's comments were entirely absurd. Lets not belittle him for it though. If he believes it to be true, then lets prove him wrong. We don't need insults and all that to make our points, and in fact, I think our whole anal historicly accurate argument stuff works a whole heck of a lot better without agression.
So, while I agree with luke and Random, I think you guys can say "he's full of semprini" quite a lot nicer than what you've done.

Frankly the whole last 2 and a half pages only illustrated the immaturity of everyone involved. Had I moderator privileges, this tread wouldn't have made it past a couple posts.
You should ALL be ashamed of yourselves regardless of age, education, or the amount of testosterone in your blood- none of those are an excuse for acting this way, especially on an internet forum where you can take your time and compose posts.
Quite frankly I'm sorry that I can't smite you all enough.
