To be honest I'd prefer to just get my money back as well. Since this ordeal I already made a purchase on two beautiful Austrian Sabres here on the SBG forum, which have already been shipped promptly with a tracking number. You get better customer service from other sword collectors than someone supposedly trying to get their business going.
If the Kreigsmesser does happen, cool I hope it ends up being a nice piece. If not and I get my money back I'm likely going to In'Carius for a custom piece.

Oh God, I missed in interesting day it looks like. I'm sorry you folks are in this position but I also want to give my deep gratitude for testing the waters before anyone else drowned. I don't do Facebook in any capacity so I'm sure I'm missing some context and don't want to reveal myself as anymore of a fool than I am, so I'll just stay in my seat and just take some notes.

More good reasons to stick to my current buying habits. Carry on. Pass the popcorn.

And the scammers practically live on facebook right now trying to scam, I can attest to that myself. So true. I don't do Facebook. But the scammers pop up on SBG too. There's one guy in particular who keeps reappearing, who contacts me every few months or so. He always has zero posts, is a new account, and will PM me after he see's whatever I listed on the WTB board. He'll say "I know someone that has what you're looking for, here's his email address." If I contact that email, I'll get a response with stock photos of whatever it is that I want, offered at a reasonable price. Then he'll demand non-refundable pre-payment. Personal check, wire transfer, whatever. I doxed him because the first alias he used had been used before - and boy, you wanna see a lot of people on a lot of boards pissed off? This is just one board he rotates through - automotive boards, firearms boards - basically any board you can think of. Other than the oddball like him, yeah, this is probably the safest place to buy swords from.

That is true, I left Facebook for that and because honestly a lot of the people in those groups are complete and utter power hungry trolls even the moderators. I legit seen a dude show how his A&A had a welded tang that snapped, everyone called him a liar and cursed him out before he could even explain further then he provided complete evidence showing it, and they still call him an a**. Even though he would be totally cool and explain how A&A gave him a full replacement they still say blah blah blah, and you get immediately banned if you disagree. That’s legit how it is in a lot of groups. But I digress. And SBG has to be the safest active place.

Ladies and gentlemen, the newest BN custom design. You are aware, Good Sir Bro' Nath', that only evil temple acolytes use wavy blades like that, led by an evil priest, solely for the purpose of sacrificing innocent virgins to raise evil decadent Snake-Gods and attain God-like power under their rule. Other than that... It's pretty cool.

Propaganda!? When I and my party of Adventurers crash into this Evil Summoning Circle of yours - well you have to have one, with a blade like that - we will slay the acolytes and neophytes one by one, thereby rescuing the damsel in distress from your evil wavy blade. I using - Balaur Arms Italian Longsword (for the ones at distance).
- Balaur Arms Italian Dagger (for the ones in close).
- Ritter Steel sgian dubh (for the ones way too close).
May your blade chip and shatter!

"Master, Sir LoE and his party have arrived at the jaw bridge" "Very good, prepare the hounds" *Drinks mysterious dark liquid from ornate goblet* "Gulp, S-S-Sir, the hounds have commenced a feeding frenzy in the dungeon and are far too full of human flesh" " Send the werewolf" *Waves him away* "The werewolf started the feeding frenzy!" "Must I do everything myself!?" *Grabs the Sanguine moon* "Keep the virgin undisturbed until I get back" You just can't find good help in this economy, can you? I mean, what the hell do they want, dental, retirement packages, not to be killed by wandering do-gooders. Talk about entitlement, am I right?

They definitely don't make minions like they used to. The other day I caught my mermen bobbing for skulls in the cistern instead of making sure it wasn't being poisoned with holy water. Now that gives me an idea...........

Grab more popcorn, the plot thickens. Here's a screenshot from someone on the Real Swords FB group communicating with Shahzeb:
Look familiar? ....

Snub, to be fair, this is not necessarily a smoking gun. Sullivan, in that thread, mentioned this project was going to come with a decision between going with Purna or Shahzeb. He chose Purna in the end, but it's not hard to believe he shared the specs and drawing with Shahzeb before his decision. Why Shahzeb is using the drawing and design as a basis for offering it to others when Sullivan didn't even go with him is a different matter. Fair point, I wasn't necissarily claiming it was a smoking gun of anything, but worthy of bringing to the thread. Seems odd to be offering someone's custom design that you never made to someone else, but maybe that's a common practice? You guys have the years of experience.

You know me too well...
LoE and his band of Merry Adventurers failed in their quest, due to a surfeit of frivolity. Indeed, they laughed themselves to death.

Just Fyi. KOA, at 2:40 pm today( 8 days after my initial question), has confirmed that Shahzeb is indeed the owner and is who he says he is. Kane posted a screenshot on page one (image now inactive) that outlined the same information. So, going on, KOA Balaur sword models sold by OTC may, or may not be as good as the future productions of the same KOA designed Balaur swords. Cheers GC

This thread provided some value after all. It's easier to discern that from a 4 page thread than a 28 page thread -- edit 29 -- page thread.

What a surprise. The Mythical Messer was supposed to ship today (after supposed to be shipped last week). No update, no tracking number, no nothing.
Looks like PayPal will have to sort this out.

Sorry you're getting the run-around SnubNoze. But you'll get reimbursed if he doesn't come through. You chose Goods and Services, right?

Sorry about that Snubnoze. Again, thank you for taking a chance for the rest of us. I'll just have to wait awhile and get a Landsknecht Emporium sometime next year.
