Hello. I am new to subject , and I reently bought Windlass Munich rapier town Guard sword based on rather positve review on You Tube (Windlass Munich Sword ( Sidesword / Rapier ) Reviewed..by "scholagladiatoria" Problem is it is far from from it was reviewed on Youn tube.. I atached some pictures I bought it from www.southernswords.co.uk/which is official distributor in united kingdom I contacted www.southernswords.co.uk/ and ask about my concerns about quality, I attached some pictures and I was told It was meant to be like that. Well then I sent email to sales@windlass.com and never get response .. so if You think sword should look like ob photos.. then.. Rafal Malota Attachments:

The Windlass Munich is not expensive and you can't expect perfection but that is indeed no good work, the gap on one side is too big even if it's probably not a safety problem. What you can try is to screw off the pommel, take it apart and turn the blade 180°. With luck it will sit better centered in the tang slot.
And welcome to the forum!
Btw, this is not a review, it belongs to another forum section. You can ask a moderator to move it.

I’m not following your question. The first photo is so back lighted I can tell nothing. On the second if the exposed ricasso is bothering, that is as it should be.

Yea definitely a fit issue probably done during assembly. Unscrew the pommel and set everything flush. If it doesn't sit flush then it's more than likely a casting error of the hilt. Again not a be all end all as it is a production sword and stuff like this happens now and then.
As long as the Sword is secure this issue is simply cosmetic.
