These are the swords I have for sale. More details at the bottom. Each of these swords should have a corresponding photo link to see photos and sometimes a video as well. Most of the links also have a document that has the info about the sword. Please PM me with questions or comments. This thread is not for conversation. If you feel like I am doing something unethical, call me out publicly, however, if you have a comment or question, then please send me a PM. This will keep my thread from being bumped unnecessarily as well as make the notes I put up easier for interested parties to find. ** every comment bumps my post to the top of the sales thread. It can be a bit frustrating for other sellers who post when one thread is constantly being moved to the top of the pile. Modern Japanese Style Blades:
Chris Zhou Katana $4000 Pavel Bolf Katana $4500 Michael Bell Cable Steel Katana $7000 Michael Bell Cable Steel Katana $9500 Euro Style Swords:
Windlass Kopis $80 Windlass War Axe $80 Arms and Armor German Bastard Sword $1000 Trades Options: I am interested in trades or at least open to them. I am always looking for fittings and bare blades of a nice quality. I prefer Japanese pieces but I am open to most things. I don't generally mind taking blades in trade that I will later sell, however, I am not really looking for anything personally. If I were to take a trade for another blade to later sell, something in the trade needs to justify the time spent doing it. Expect me to be on the shrewd side in these cases. Shipping:Prices don't include shipping. In the current environment, I do not have access to any discounted shipping methods. UPS or FedEx are available. USPS is also available but I am somewhat loath to go there. For shipping rates, expect boxes to be around 45"X8"X8" and have a weight of around 9lb. (rough estimate) My zip is 55446 for calculation. Payment:I take PayPal and I will eat the fee or if you want to be nice, we can split it. I will also accept a check or money order but I will not ship anything until the payment fully clears (sometimes up to 15 business days for checks). Wire transfer is preferred for international buyers but not required. I am also willing to work on a payment type plan. If you are interested in this as an option please let me know and we will work out fair terms. I have done this with other members of the forum and don't mind doing it however both of us need to agree on some details before going down that path. Contact:You can PM me here or email me at Krunangree@gmail.com! with questions or offers. For those of you that don’t know me. I have sold a few things on the forum before and I am an easy guy to work with. My eBay name is krunangree, you can see my feedback there if you want. I am sure there are a few folks on the forum that could tell you I am a trustworthy guy to deal with if you want references. Photos and Info:Because of the amount of items I am not going to post many photos in the listing. I am going to post links to each of them in a google doc. Click the link to load high rez images. If the sight is not loading send me an e-mail and I will get them to you directly. You can also Skype with me to see the stuff in person. My name on Skype is Krunan. I could also Google Talk too. I would rather you have all the info you need to make a choice than deal with the hassle of dissatisfaction. I also put the details of each item in the google doc in a document called "info." You should find all the information I have about the items there. If it is missing, I am being lazy and have not gotten to it. PM me with questions. why is the Pavel Bolf sword the price almost the same as a new one? It is far from new.

“Do not debate pricing or haggle on the public forum. Use the PM function. We would recommend members limit posting in Marketplace threads and use the PM function to contact the original poster of the thread. The seller can ask whatever they want for the price. It is the potential buyers' job to research the item.” sbg-sword-forum.forums.net/thread/44128/marketplace-rules-update-2020-readThank you Mod Team

I will remind the reader of Mather.Jensen’s request to PM him with questions or comements. And this thread is not for conversation. It looks like pellius got here while I was typing.

why is the Pavel Bolf sword the price almost the same as a new one? It is far from new. This is a fair question though I would rather it be asked in a PM - Pavel changes more for folded blades than he does for monosteel blades. I think this one is a fair amount less than he would change for a new and mounted blade. From what I recall his pieces were around $6k to start for folded items. While it is used, it is still in rather good shape. Most of Pavel's pieces seem to be mounted by him. This one was done by another mounter. It has a different feel than many of his other works and the materials used are not inexpensive. Not crazy either but not bottom of the barrel kind of stuff. To make this sword today I think you would likely spend well over 6k to have it done. From what I can gather a monosteel blade in polish and mounts costs $4500ish today. This one has a few extra touches that Pavel would also charge for. Folded steel is probably the biggest adder Lohman fittings (more or less charm depending on your tastes) Custom Silver Menuki (patrick hastings) Tsunami Ito Full wrap of high quality skin Some custom paint touches Buying one that is made to your liking may be a better option for you. That said, stating this one is the same price as a new one is misleading.

I am only responding because that is misleading. also please put the descriptions of the sword and the current state in the ad like the rules say.

My post was not directed towards any individual. I see a trend in the thread leading to conversations and was trying to stop such actions before getting out of hand.

I am only responding because that is misleading. also please put the descriptions of the sword and the current state in the ad like the rules say.
In the file there is a text document labeled info. It outlines the specs of each sword and the details I can provide. Some time ago I asked the moderators about this because it does out of alignment with the rules. I got the OK to keep the listing as I have it. With more than a couple items for sale, the listing gets cluttered and hard to browse. I think the way I do it preserves the intent of the rules and makes it a little easier to browse. Also you have posted the price list for Pavel. It states what I did earlier. A finished blade (mono steel) is $4500. Orishgane and folding are more expensive. The blade I am selling is more than $4500 were you to have it made today. That said, if I want to get $4500 for a blade that is $4500, why is that bad? Maybe it is not the deal for you but why call it out as unethical?
