My paypal account got permanently banned for unknown reason. I swear there was nothing I did wrong, just usual activities with ebay, hulu, pateron, etc.. and once in quite a while buy/sell swords. Called customer service and tried to appeal, they said they will investigate but my search on internet says it's basically hopeless....
Now, it seems to me that 99% of the our sword-related activities here is through paypal. Is there really an alternative method that is acceptable to most people? Or is my sword hobby basically sentenced to death already?
Thanks for any help

Thanks! Never noticed this thread before, glad to find so many people in the same situation. I'm joining the anti-paypal club now.

There are always money orders and personal checks if ok with both parties. I just wrote a check out to cash a couple of days ago. Some years ago sending a check for a sword and it shipped before I had even mailed the check. So much may depend on both parties.
I have used Google pay in a couple of instances and have generally had no trouble with paypal, Bank transfers are not a horrible way to go.
Cheers GC

If both banks support it, Zelle is a great option. Extremely quick and easy, and no fees that I'm aware of.
